Psychological Love
Chorong looked down at the occupied hospital bed with sad eyes. Why had Bomi done that? But she knew the answer. Bomi was beyond selfless, and Chorong knew what Bomi would say if she asked her that question.
"Because you're more important to me."
It had been one week since that incident, and the doctors had said that Bomi was stable now. Chorong had immediately called Eunji when she got to the hospital and Bomi was taken to the emergency room. She had cried and stuttered into the phone, and Eunji had seemed to immediately know that something was wrong with Bomi. Eunji had calmly told her to text her the location of the hospital, and Chorong had complied. And then, a few minutes later, she had found herself crying into Eunji's warm embrace, Eunji giving her soothing words of comfort. That had been a week ago, and Bomi still didn't show any signs of waking up. With a sigh, Chorong reached down and Bomi's cheek, and then left to get a drink. WIth a troubled mind, she bought a random soda from the vending machine and then made her way back to the room that Bomi was in. Eyes cast down, she opened the door and then closed it, and then turned. Only to drop her can of soda with a clang.
"Hey Chorong unnie!"
With wide, unbelieving eyes Chorong stared at the girl sitting up on her hospital bed. "Y-Yoon Bomi. Y-You're awake-"
"Yeah. But, where am I, Un-" Bomi was cut off as Chorong rushed the other girl and threw her arms around her, sobbing.
"You idiot! Why did you do that?! Do you know how scared I was?!"
"What are you talking about, Unnie? What happened?"
Chorong stopped crying and slowly pulled away from the younger girl. "W-What?"
"The last thing I remember is waiting for you at the cafe. Did something happen?"
"Oh my god." With those three words, Chorong ran out of the room calling for the doctor.

"She has short-term memory loss."
"Then how does she recognize me and Eunji and Naeun?" Chorong asked, staring up at the doctor. The doctor gave her a small smile.
"Yoon Bomi seems to have lost all of her memory except for the time period between mid-august last year until after around two in the afternoon the day the incident happened," the doctor explained. Chorong held onto Eunji's arm tightly. This was impossible. How could this happen?
"Wait. So she doesn't remember anything about her past?" Eunji asked, tilting her head slightly.
"Yes. She only remembers the time up to the fall of last year. But, I do have to ask you this. Does Yoon Bomi have a good past?" The atmosphere became silent as both Chorong and Eunji looked at each other and then looked down. "I assumed as much," the doctor said, though not in an offending way. "This may cause a few problems. I did say that Yoon Bomi has short-term memory loss, but in the case that the patient does not have a past that they would want to remember, they might intentionally try to suppress their memory. After a while you may notice something a little off about the patient, such as avoiding certain questions, or acting in a different sort of matter, and you can see that as a sign of them starting to regain their memory. Most patients will maybe pass out, and then wake up with their memories, but in Yoon Bomi's case, I think that she will refuse to remember. When you notice those off things about her, I need you to go on her strongly. Pushing back memories can further hurt the patient, so if you see the symptoms go on for longer than a week, I'll need one of you to sit her down and force her to remember everything. The professional way to do it is...different, but I don't personally like that method. When you force her to remember, she may retaliate, become angry. You may even get hurt, but I would really prefer that you do it this way, rather than the professional methods."
Eunji and Chorong just stared at the tall doctor in front of them with disbelieving eyes. "What is this, some sort of korean drama? How can this even hap
