Months went on and I know my brother starts being suspicious of me. Onew had been sneaking at night and goes home at dawn just before my brother starts his daily routine of jogging. One time, we almost got caught making out on my bed when he started knocking

“Hey Sara,”

“Yeah?”

“You alone?”

“Yeah”

“Are you sure? Just heard something in there”

“I’m alone. Wait, I’ll open the door”

He scanned the room with his hawk eye and looked at me. I tried to give him the best poker face I got

“Just sleep kiddo”

Onew shows up every morning for breakfast and I don’t know why how he manages that. And then one day, he just stopped coming. He stopped answering my messages and calls. He is not coming to school and today is the fifth day that it happened. I am starting to get worried

“Hey, Minho. Where’s Onew?”

“I think he went back to California”

“And you didn’t bother to tell me?!”

“Whoah! Why do you care so much? He didn’t tell me the reason why he needs to go back in there and he told me not to tell anyone”

“including me?”

“yeap” he munch on his freaking burger

How can he just cut me off like that? That is going to be in a big mess when he comes back in here without any explanation. Minho is on his second burger and I have been drinking my soda for minutes now thinking what might have happened to Onew and why the hell he didn’t tell me he needed to go back home
