the beggar
Teddy Bear Love
“honey….HONEY.”
“hm…what??”
“could you take this from me? it’s heavy.”
Kris took the baggage without even looking what it was. His mind was focusing on the street in front of the coffee shop they were entering. He could see someone there. Probably a beggar. The beggar had a black cloth around and that made the identity unknown to everyone. There was a bowl in front of him that someone of the people who would pass would throw a coin in it.
“dad?”
“hm…yes??”
“what do you want to order?”
He looked at his older son, kyungsoo, trying to understand what he said.
“oh…um…a latte.”
His gaze went back to the street but his view was blocked by his wife. He sighed and lowered his head. He didn’t knew why the beggar had caught his attention so much.
He and his family didn’t came to this area a lot so it wasn’t like he had seen the beggar before but something about him…
This time he sighed in frustration and huffed. His younger son, luhan looked at him with wide eyes.
“is everything ok dad??”
“yeah…”
Kyungsoo was texting while luhan was tapping his foot. He was nervouse about something. Chae rin was in her phone as well. She wasn’t the best mother. All she thought about was shopping and wasting her husband’s money.
Kris sighed. If it wasn’t for his sons he would have gotten a divorce from his wife. Chae rin wasn’t always so bad but it was kris that didn’t have feelings for her anymore.
Their order came and they drank and ate in silence. After everyone ate they got up and left. They walked to their house since it was really near. The only reason they wouldn’t come to this area that was near their house was because luhan didn’t like it but now not going wasn’t an option.
When they were walking chae rin said she wanted to check out the dress shop in the street below. So they crossed the street and went to the other side. Only then kris remembered about the beggar.<
