Chapter 6.

 

Jungkook’s P.O.V

School was over.

Everyone started to pack their things as Mrs.Kim walks out.

I picked up my bagpack.

I waited for her.

She noticed that I wasn’t moving.

She looks up.

“Why aren’t you going out?” She asked.

“I’m waiting for you.”

“Don’t.” She said.

I shrugged.

I walked out of the class and leaned against the wall next to the door.

I crossed my arms as I waited.

She walks out and stopped her tracks as she saw me.

“Yah, I said don’t wait for me.” She said.

“Ani you didn't. You said don’t. Don’t what? You didn’t say don’t wait for me or anything.” I replied.

She rolled her eyes and walked away.

I walked behind her.

As soon as we got out of the gate, I catch up my pace and walked by her side.

“What do you want?” She asks, annoyed.

 “Nothing, I wanna stop by at the café before going home.” I said.

“Well don’t walk with me, the kids are staring.” She hissed.

I turned to the bus stop across the street. I chuckled.

And yes, our schoolmates were watching.

“Let them be.” I said.

“Yah, they’ll misunderstand!”

I smirked as I wrapped my right arm around her shoulder.

“Yah!” Her eyes grew big.

I waved at the students with my left hand.

They started to whisper each other. Some of them were taking pictures.

Joo Yeon’s P.O.V

I felt my face burning.

What is wrong with this guy?!

I couldn’t take it any longer as I felt my heart beating fast.

I shrugged his arms off and ran.

“Yah, wait up!” He shouts as he ran after me.

I hit him on his arms as we were far enough from being seen by the students.

“What is wrong with you!” I scolded him.

“Ani, what is wrong with YOU?” He asked back teasingly.

“What?”

“Your face is all red.” He chuckled, pointing at my face.

“Ugh of course. I’m embarrassed by those students!”

“Or flustered because of me?”

I gulped.

“A-ani.” I looked away.

I remembered that I took a day off today as I saw the junction to my apartment.

I walked faster.

“U-um, b-bye.” I stuttered as I turned to the left.

“Yah, where are you going?” I heard him asking.

I ignored him and walked faster.

I heard him running towards me.

“I said bye!” I shouted as I turned around.

“Aren’t you going to the café?” He asked.

“I’m still on my days off.” I answered.

“Hey you said you wanted to go to the café.” I added.

“Mm, not anymore. Then where are you going?” He asked again.

“Going home, duh.” I rolled my eyes and turned around.

I continued to walk.

I still felt his presence.

“Stop following me!” I groaned.

“I’m not.”

“Then where are you going?”

“Glad you asked.” He said as he walked beside me.

“I live there.” He adds, pointing at a building.

“You?” He asks.

“Across it.” I answered.

“Oh? How come I never see you before?”

“I don’t know. Maybe because I have works to do?” Duh. I rolled my eyes.

“Ah right.”

I crossed the road. He followed me.

“What is it again?” I frowned.

“Just shut up and keep walking.” He said.

He’s so annoying!

I walked into the building and got into the elevator.

He’s still with me.

I went up to the 7th floor.

I walked to my apartment.

He’s still here.

I looked up to him.

“Go home.” I sighed.

“Go in.” He said.

I put in the passcode and walked in.

“There. Go away.”

“Mm arraseo.” He walks away.

What a weird person.

I rolled my eyes and shut the door.

 

I stared at the ceiling as I kept thinking of that guy.

I knew he was lying when he said he lives at that building.

I know where he lives & actually the building across the street is not an apartment building. It’s a company building.

I chuckled. I couldn’t help but smile.

That idiot. He could’ve just said that he wants to walk me home.

Until my phone rang.

‘Mark’

I picked it up.

“Wae?” I asked.

“I heard Jungkook walked you home, is it true?” He asked.

“Y-yes. How did you know?”

“I heard the others talking.”

I sighed.

“But yah, I told you to wait for me.” He said.

“Ahh right! I’m so sorry, Mark. I forgot! I really did. I was really tired today I didn’t-”

“Hey hey hey relax relax. It’s okay.” He cuts me off.

“I’m so sorry..” I sighed again.

“Aniii, it’s okay. Enough, now go to sleep.”

“Arraseo.”

“Jalja.”

“You too. Byee.” I hung up and threw my phone aside.

I watched the plain ceiling.

Until an image of Jungkook pops out of my mind.

I shook my head.

Ew. Why would I think of him. Gross.

As my eyes wanders, I start to think of him again.

I remembered the way he laughs and the way our eyes met.

I sat up, slapping myself.

Wake up you idiot!

Damn.

I hate him. I hate him. I hate him. I do I do I do.

the next day

I was chatting with Mark while reading a novel while the class was a chaos as always.

Until there was a loud thud as the door was opened harshly.

The whole classroom went silent now all eyes on the figure.

It was Park Yoon Mi.

She glared at me.

What’s with her?

I watched as she walked closer.

She took the novel from my hand and threw it somewhere else.

I gasped. Mark stands up.

“Yah-”

“You stay out of this.” She cuts Mark off.

I stand up.

“What’s wrong with you-”

She cuts me off too by slapping my right cheek.

Ouch!

My mouth hung opened, I was dumbfounded.

I covered my cheek with my hand.

I looked up at her.

“How dare you to flirt with my boyfriend!” She yells.

What the actual fck.

She slammed her phone onto my desk.

“What is that?!” She yells again.

I looked down.

It was a yesterday’s picture of me and Jungkook, with his arms around my shoulder.
