Do You Feel the Same?Gary's POV
It was pouring down. Claps of thunder were like cannons going off. To make matters worse, the rain wasn't letting up, it just kept pummeling the earth. We've been sitting here in the past 30 minutes in dead silence. It's too awkward. But I can't help it but stare at her. Beautiful. Is what she is. No, wait beautiful doesn't even to begin to describe her. There's no possible word to describe her beauty. Eottoeke? I can't take it any longer.
"Mong Ji?" I start out quietly. Nothing.
I start again a little louder. " Mong Ji?" Still silence.
Is she asleep or just pretending? I can't help but wonder.
I lean forward to see. To answer my question, when suddenly, she faces me. And we're just inches apart.
Awkward....
We lock eyes for what feels like a lifetime. I didn't want it to end. But sadly she turned to the other direction, gazing out at the darkness of the night. I'm still in the same position, leaning towards her, just begging her to face me. And she does. Lightning strikes and the loudest boom echoes. She screams and turns around to not only hug me but be not inches, not centimeters, but just mere millimeters away from being kissed.
Again awkward.....
We stay like this for several short moments, gazing at each other lovingly, longing for the other. Until I guess we snapped back to our senses and pulled away. I search my mind wondering, "Does she really and truly feel th
