The Queen of Scotland must protect his own country from the English while fighting for his failing marriage with the King of France.

Œ Genre: Historical, Romance, Bit-of-Comedy and Drama. Also, scheming and third parties.

Œ Rating: G, sometimes PG-13, sometimes R for mild cussing in the olden days.

Œ Length: 5 to 10 chapters long, depending on the pace of the story.

Œ Pairing: Yifan/Baekhyun, Sehun/Lu Han (side pairing), and some confusing relationships that are best left unsaid... for now.

Œ Reign/Royalty AU: This story is inspired by the TV series Reign and of actual monarch events (some of it). Analysis and explanation for character assignments will be posted after the entire story is finished, or after every chapter (depends if there's a need to :D).

DISCLAIMER: I do not own the characters in this story, their names, identities and the events happening as well. Any part that seemed identical to a previous fic is purely coincidental. I also do not own the history of Scotland, France and England stated in this fic. Homouality is the norm, yet royal titles (such as the 'Queen', ladies-in-waiting etc. - complete with ball gowns, tiaras and crowns, carriages, horses etc.) are still intact although they are referred to as their real gender. Set in 1500s.

NOTE: I really hope you guys will read this until the very end. I reaaaaally like the idea of monarchy and all that His and Her Majesty thing and it's the first time I think someone has done something like this in every fandom, like basing it off in real-life Monarchy stories (although there are some that are most probably fabricated).

Lastly, I have been with this AU for like almost a year now ㅠㅠ and I entered this AU into artistalks. Unfortunately, the mods decided to stop posting fics because there were some that have not submitted theirs and I'm not sure if this idea got into progress ㅠㅠ If this idea was somewhat identical to anything that you've read in the past or just recently, I assure you I did not plagiarize that one >.< I mean, ever since Reign I've wanted to cast Baekhyun and Yifan in it. ㅋㅋ But yeah, basically this is royalty!AU and I hope you guys like it as much as I obsess over it lol

oh.
so actually jaejoong's the one who made yifan and baekhyun grew distant? because he accused him of those silly things and because he had a miscarriage (omg baekhyun had a miscarriage?)
yifan, how could you be angry at baekhyun?? you should've treat him better, since you're not the only one that lost the child, actually, baekhyun must be the one one who hurt the most TT (y'know, since he's the one expecting and been with the baby and suddenly lost it ;;;;)
and goddamn your 'i need an heir' and 'seeing you just reminds me of the past' are just adjsofahaod so insensitive you never consider baekhyun's feeling so fck you (and you won't get an heir if you don't sleep with b hahaha)

jaejoong is really the typical annoying mother-in-law lol prying into things and makes his son's wife (husband?) suffer -__- (where does he live? does he live with them? and junsu?)
i can't imagine if jaejoong actualy live with them like, ugh the torture baekhyun had to endure... and with yifan defends his mother when he knows that jaejoong is bad...

and actually i don't understand kyungsoo thingy .__. like, baekhyun is an england prince? and who's kyungsoo? another prince from another kingdom (?) that wants to claim france? or baekhyun's step-brother otl .__.a

Chapter 3: um if you go with the plot baek will be executed and have to marry 3more people and yifan will die soo kyunsoo will be the Elizabeth1 of england and sehun will take over and will marry luhan and die and yifan mother Catherine was omg i beg you don't make it like real story of queen mary of Scot .I don't want the house of Bourbon to come in power ...
