Ever since I was young, I prefered the colour pink. I longed to own jewels, the ones that sparkle when they hit the light, something woman stare in awe at, but only seemed to be obtained by woman who live in the most lavish of homes. But as my mother would say, "Kibum, you are a boy, pink is for girls." and she would pry whatever girly item I had from my hands, my tiny knuckles white as I held on ridiculously tight to the cheap pink toys from a toy store, for her to replace it with a truck, or a dinosaur. Of course with disinterest, I would place it down and only nod, agreeing to her close minded statements. Even from that young age, I knew I would become something so extravagant, but little did I know that I would become a Lolita.
