"Dad, mom"

You guys went to your respective parents side.

There were hugs and chit chatting.

"Hey dad, hey mum"

You hugged your parents.

"Hey sweetie, how's life?"

Your mum asked.

"yeah.. fine.."

"Any boys with you?"

Your dad raised an eyebrow

"Uh.. no.."

You lied.

"Good! Because I want to introduce you to my friend's son, he's a very good boy! And also very handsome!"

You mum wiggle her eyebrows.

You facepalmed yourself

"Mom! I don't want any boys right now okay?! Urghhh.."

Your mum frowned.

"Why? Oh.My.God. Are you-?"

Your mum look at you up and down.

You shook your head furiously

"NO NO NO! MOM! I just.. let me find my own boyfriend okay?!"

Your mum smiled at you

"You'll love him, I assure you. Tomorrow, you'll be meeting him for lunch okay? Good. I shall go unpack my things now."

She went upstairs with the rest of your uncles and aunties.

You sigh as you sat on the sofa.

"Why the sigh?"

Clarrisa asked.

You were about to explain when Michy sat down beside you.

"She's gettig matchmake by her mum."

You turned to her

"How did you-"

Michy pointed to her ears

"I can hear every conversation be it far or near, loud or soft remember?"

"Right.."

"You're getting matchmake? To who? Is it a cutie?"

Rachael ask as she raise her eyebrows

"I will be meeting him tomorrow.."

Clarrissa eye widened

"Hey! What about Eli?"

Your face fell

"That's why.. I have a date tomorrow and I don't know how I should tell him.."

"Just tell him that you're going for a blind date!"

Gerald said as he play his PS3

You glared at him

"If I tell him that, he would be hurt doofus!"

Gerald shrugged

"Well, he's a man, how can he be easily hurt?"

You rolled your eyes.

"You know, you should tell your parents that you're dating him."

Shaun said.

You look at him icily.

"Well you know what, I should! And let my parents kill him? Oh yeah, good idea!"

You said sarcastically

Shaun shurgged

"Well, just saying~"

Clarissa touched your shoulder

"Well, what are you gonna do?"

You sigh

"What can I do? Cancel my date and go for this blind date before I get cooked by my parents!"

"Oh, by the way, your blind date is a vampire too, and a real hottie. He has lots of brothers I think."

Rachel said as she read a magazine.

You look at her questionably

"How do you know?"

"I read your mum's mind just now duh!"

You nodded slowly.
