You were skipping towards the park to meet Eli.

You found the usual bench and sat down.

Your eyes brightened up as you saw Eli running towards you.

"Eli!"

You waved.

He wrapped his arms around you and twirled you around.

You giggled.

He kissed your nose

"Baby, I missed you so much!"

You smiled widely

"Me too~"

But his face fell when he saw your wounded cheek.

"Babe.. What happen to your pretty cheek?"

You look left and right

"Err.. I accidentally scratched it with a broken glass."

He narrowed his eyes.

"Really?"

You nodded.

"Then how come you have bruises on your arms?"

He raised an eyebrow and lifted your arms.

You glanced down at them

*Damn! I forgot to treat my arms!*

"Erm.. I fell down!"

Eli folded his arms

"Okay, first you scratched yourself, and then fell down? You weren't clumsy at all."

You shrugged

"Hey, I'm a human, plus I'm not perfect. Why? You don't trust me?"

You pouted.

Eli smiled

"No, it's just that, it hurts me when you hurt yourself."

You wrapped your arms around him

"Okay fine, I promise, I won't hurt myself again okay?"

Eli looked down at you and kissed you.

"You better keep that promise."

You grinned but fell when you sense something.

*Someone's watching us.*

You immediately grew alert.

Eli saw your expression and frowned

"Baby? What's wrong?"

You saw a figure just a few feet away behind Eli.

"Eli? Wait here alright? I'll be back and don't follow me okay?"

You started running towards that direction

"Baby, wait-"

But you were gone.

Eli sighed.

 You saw someone hiding behind a tree, spying on you and Eli.

In a flash, you were behind that person.

You grabbed their shoulder.

"Who are you and why are you spying on me?"

That person slowly turned around

Your eyes rounded

"Hoya? What are you doing here?"

Hoya sheepishly rubbed behind his neck.

You fold your arms

"I demand an explaination."

Hoya bowed

"I'm sorry your highness, I just.. erm.. I just wanted.."

*He's still cute as always, calling me highness when he's scared.*

"You wanted to what?"

You tapped your foot impatiently.

"Erm.. is he your boyfriend?"

You sigh

"Yeah, so what if he is.."

Hoya frowned, displeased.

"But your highness... vampires aren't allowed to date humans.."

You looked away

"So? I don't care.."

"But what if the King and Queen finds out? You'll-"

"I don't mind any punishment given by dad and mum, as long as they don't hurt Eli.."

Hoya eyes widened in surprise.

"Eli? Kim Eli? Your highness, you're dating a celebrity? That's worst!"

You look at Hoya sharply

"Me and Eli are in love with each other, no one can separate us! I don't get it Hoya, why are you so concerned over this matter?"

You flung your arms up, annoyed.

*Because I like you..*

He thought sadly.

"Anyways, Hoya, look, you're my best friend, please don't tell my parents, kay?"

Hoya didn't answer.

You sigh and walk away.

Hoya look at your back.

*I'm sorry your highness, I have to tell the King and Queen since it will be good for you..*

He turned and make his way to the palace.
