Wildflowers
Poetry for XiuHanA blue flower ocean,
It was by chance that I grew next to you.
We grew, wildflowers blue,
And for months we dithered
Before our petals withered.
But even when the seasons limit my days by your side,
We’ll grow far and wide,
And the winds will bring me back to you,
Wildflower baby blue.
A/N: Flower in question is called “Nemophila menziesii,” commonly known as “baby blue eyes.”
