Happiness can be calculated so they say,

Just as easily as it can be explained away.

But still others propose,

It is a place where sorrows and tears dare not go.

Yet I say, on the contrary,

That trials and tribulations make one happy;

For every day that I spent with you

Was not always merry and blissful too.

Simply being by your side, I must confess,

Brought me into eternal happiness.
