Four years later…

“Are you okay? Are you sure you don’t need any help?”

Seohyun looked at Yonghwa’s mother. They are at her house, enjoying the warm summer weather with an outdoor barbecue party. Yonghwa and her have their own house nearby two years ago. They just visit his mother every now and then.

“Yes omoni. It’s okay. I can do this” she said as she put the barbecue on the grill

“Okay. I’m going to prepare the juice” she answered and went inside the house

Her attention was caught by the screaming child. It was from her two year old daughter Ji Hyun, that was playing with Yonghwa. Looking at them so happy made her heart swell with pride and joy.

Contented. That was the best term she could think of to describe her current disposition.

At first she was afraid she might get tired of her life in the US and would go back to acting in Korea. But in the years that she was with her child and Yonghwa, the simple, happy and contented life, she can say that Yonghwa was right. This kind of life was way better than any glamour, fame or fortune being an actress could bring her. yes, she had made the right decision. Probably the best decision she had made her entire life.

Her manager hadn’t given up on her yet. Eight months ago, she received her latest movie offer. She was still urging her to go back to acting. And again she turned down the offer graciously.

Yonghwa made it a point to let her know that if she felt she wanted to go back to acting, she can, he would not hinder her. in the next few years, maybe. Nobody could really tell. She was happy and contented being with a loving husband who still made her heart flutter double time with just a mere stare and an adorable daughter. Their business- Korean Grocery/Restaurant was surprisingly getting a large following, not only from Korean costumers but also from locals too. What could she ask for? She was living a dream!
