              Jimin lay in bed next to Jungkook, the younger boy was already drifting into a deep sleep, but Jimin was still awake, watching the boy as the boys chest evenly rose and fell rhythmically, his breathing being the only sound to be heard in the otherwise silent room. Jimin found the sound to be soothing to him as his eye lids slowly became heavier and sleep began to take over him, the night had been the first in a long while that Jimin didn't go to sleep with fear controlling his thoughts, instead he drifted into his dream land, recalling bitter-sweet memories of his childhood and when it all had changed.

       Jimin dreamed of his past, he was six at the time, life hadn't been what you would call fun, though his mother was alive she and Jimin's father had constantly fought, bruises had began to appear on the woman and though Jimin was young he wasn't naive he knew they had come from his father, slowly it had gotten worse small bruises turning to deep cuts and though it had escalated with his mother Jimin's father had never laid a hand on the child until the night of the death.

       Jimin, now age seven, watched through tear clouded eyes as his mother packed her belongings in a suit case, screaming profanity's at the man, Jimin's father, and put all her belongings into the car, lastly scooping the still bawling Jimin up into her hands and putting him into the back seat, and pulling out of the driveway, the last thing Jimin had seen before the accident was the dimly lit porch and the vaguely distinguishable face that he knew to be his fathers, grief written on his face fading into the distance.

       Going down the nearly abandoned roads fear bubbled in Jimin's stomach, What would happen now? Will he ever see his father again? but the thoughts was interrupted by the loud screeching and horn of a car accompanied by the screams he knew to be his mothers, that being the last thing he heard before he out from a violent collision with the widow as it shattered, and Jimin woke up to find himself in a hospital bed, everyone was bearing grim faces the young boy couldn't, yet, understand.

       Jimin began to look around as his father walked up to him catching his attention, he was void of all emotion, speaking in a monotone voice.

       "Let's go Jimin." was all the man said, none of the usual concern he got when he was injured, the nurses just looked at Jimin with pity. Upon getting no response, Jimin's father harshly grabbed Jimins small wrist, making him cry out in pain from the force, and dragged him out, as the nurses just watched offering to help to the small boy, which had made Jimin
