There he was. The quarterback of the school's football team, Byun Baekhyun. Girls loved him. Just look at how all his fangirls have gathered in the hallway as he walks towards his second period class. Me? Oh, I'm not one of them. I mean — honestly? I find him quite handsome. But I don't like him, he's just a friend. We've been friends since young, because our mothers are best friends. I admit that I still have feelings for him, but I'm trying so hard to brush that off. He probably doesn't like me anyways.

  He walks past me and smirks, but I shoot him a glare. I hate his arrogance. I don't even know what the hell I even thought of him in the beginning. I brush off those thoughts and walk into the class, forgetting that Baekhyun even existed.    "Hey, pretty." He whispers into my ear. bloody hell, I think to myself as I roll my eyes, turning to face him.  "What the hell do you want?" I ask, in an irritated tone to . I didn't want to see his face — it's too early to look at him without trying to prank him.    "Go to lunch with me." He says, crossing his arms as he eyes me carefully.    Did I just hear him right? He doesn't usually like to go for lunch with me.    "Woah, are you sick? Why so sudden?" I raise a brow, completely curious about his sudden question.    He shrugs, shoving his hands into his pockets before looking at me again.  "Yes or no? I won't take no for an answer, though."    I laugh and flick his forehead, nodding in agreement.  "Fine. I'll go with you."    Fourth period ends and I make my way towards the cafeteria. When I had finally reached the entrance, I spotted Baekhyun and his other friends from the football team tossing a ball around, almost hitting a teacher. I roll my eyes, amused by how dumb Baekhyun actually was. No surprise, though. When we were 6, he tried to balance on a swing as it was moving. Nothing good came out of doing that.    Baekhyun spots me and I wave, motioning for him to come. I hear his friends whistle and I let out a laugh. how lame. Baekhyun jogs towards me and I cross my arms, laughing at how he almost fell because he stumbled. What a moron.    "Your treat?" I ask, grinning playfully.  He narrows his eyes at me before finally giving in.  "It better be yours next week."   I grab his arm impatiently and pull him towards the queue for food, grabbing a tray for the both of us. My best friend, Yoona approaches me from behind, squealing as she calls me name.  "Tae, Tae! Guess what!"   I tilt my head as I look at her, simply shrugging. "What's up, yoong?"   She shows me her phone, a message from a contact labelled "Chanyeol" with a heart behind it saying, "let's go out. as a couple." At this point, Yoona was on the verge of crying from happiness. And of course, I was completely elated for my best friend because she was head over heels for this guy. And Chanyeol? I approve of him.
