Lee Jinki was in love.

He'd been in love ever since he'd first set eyes on the young boy he called his best friend.  It was an injustice, he thought, that the boy be resented like he was.  Minhwan was sweet, and funny, and cute.  Who cared if he was Hopelessly Devoted or not?  Apparently, a lot of people.  But it didn't matter to Onew.

Onew loved him.

And it absolutely killed Jinki when he saw Minhwan's tears on that fatal day that will forever become known as the Day That Dave Was Forever Acknowledged As The Coolest Person In School Because He Hurt The HD's Feelings.  Jinki wanted to tell Minhwan right there that he was loved, and that he didn't need anyone but Onew and his chicken.

Minwhan was blind to Jinki's infatuation.  Onew did all he could to hint at it; he kept trying to light a fire in the dark.  But how do you start a fire with no wood and no tinder?  Jinki didn't even have a lighter to work with.  He was detertimed to tell Minhwan about it tomorrow, though.

The problem with that, however, is that he'd been resolving for 'tomorrow' every day for the last three years... The tomorrows just kept coming and coming.  With every day, there was a new tomorrow, and Onew kept pushing it back, and back, and back, and back, and back.....

Okay, so maybe not tomorrow tomorrow, but sometime soon, Jinki thought to himself, heading off to his next class and listening to Minhwan chattering beside him, unaware of Jinki's thoughts.

A/N: So yeah, I know it's short and it's been a while.  But as for this chapter, you already got a bit of background on Onew in Minhwan's chapter so I kind of dissected this one down a little so it wasn't as repetitive.  LOVE YOU GUISE!  I will start doing comment replies when the actual storyline starts to pick up, okai? <333333333
