He was the baby.

Lee Taemin was always the baby of the school.

He cried when he was happy, he cried when he was sad, he cried when he was frustrated and he cried when he was angry.

He was Emotional, he couldn't help it.

The other kids liked to pick on him, but his friend Onew was always there to help a brotha out.

Sometimes, Taemin felt like a traitor.  He considered Onew his best friend, but he didn't want the older boy to see his cry so he would avoid him.

It made him feel really bad, because Jinki had recently been seeming really under the weather...  And Taemin didn't know why.  He kept seeing him hanging around with the Hopelessly Devoted kid, Minhwan, but Taemin was too sensitive to criticism.

He'd get made fun of even more, and he wasn't sure he could handle it.  He already had scars from each of his other disappointments...

He counted them every single night.

And aspired to make one less mistake the next day until he no longer made any mistakes.

He didn't know that when he made that resolution he should have added another line to his collection of mistakes.

Because everyone makes them.
