The next morning, New Year’s Eve, at exactly 7 in the morning, everyone in the dorm was rushing in and out of the bathroom. It was a total commotion.

“Girls! Hurry up! You’ll be late for the practice with SM Rookies. It’s extremely traffic to get to SM building so please double time!” The manager tried saying it in a loud voice in order for all of them to hear.

Though they ended at 2AM and got home at 3AM and some slept at 5AM, they were still able to get up even if they were still groggy. They still need to be able to get used to it. Their sleepy faces were visible even after showering and their hairdos were a total mess. The manager let the stylists in and as the members were still eating breakfast, the stylists still managed to fix their idols up.

Going to the car, they were still extremely sleepy. They only had probably 3 hours or less to reenergize for their dance practice. Though this was supposed to be a free day for everyone, they still managed to put in practice in this day.

         In SM Entertainment’s practice room, both SM Rookies and Angel’s Kiss look beaten up to the bone. 10AM, it’s only been 2 hours since they started practicing and they were sweating and feeling like breaking down. The choreographer saw their visible fatigue and decided that they may rest. During the break, the oh so hesitant Taeyong approached Hwayoung, who was talking with the rest of her group mates, with a flower in his hand. He tapped her shoulder and when she turned around, she gave him a light smile and excused herself from the conversation with her groupmates in order for her to converse with him.

“What’s up?” She asked as they went to the corner and sat down and started to converse. He was twisting the stem of the flower, obviously he was very nervous to converse with Hwayoung again.

“Um… You didn’t text Johnny last night. I was worried that you kind of forgot my offer to hangout today.”

“Oh! Thank you so much for reminding. I’m so sorry I totally forgot for we arrived home extremely late and I slept late.” She scratched the back of her head and giving him such a sorry face.

I knew this was coming. I wish to hangout with her but I guess it isn’t happening.

“Taeyong? Are you okay?” He snapped out of his trance and Hwayoung spoke once more. “Hey, um, I’m sorry but I won’t be able to hangout with you today. I hope you’re okay with it. Maybe we can hangout some other time? Just tell me when you’re free time is and maybe I can sneak in some time in my schedule in order to stay with you.” She gave him a bright smile and he felt bad that she turned down his offer but it cannot be helped, rather, he agreed to hanging out with her in the near future.

They both stood up as the manager called them and before going back to practice, Taeyong gave her the rose he was holding. She thanked him and gave him a bear hug, which he wasn’t really expecting but he hugged back. Everyone else from SM Rookies saw it and they felt quite jealous for Hwayoung is one of the sunbaes they respect the most. Back to the dance floor, they practiced their routine none stop once more. 12PM, lunch time, the choreographer stopped the practice and the idols and rookies were told to just stand on the dance floor for he has and announcement.

“Since it’s New Year’s Ever and you all weren’t supposed to practice today, I’ve decided that you will all be dismissed from practice now and we’ll just continue this two weeks from now so you can all hang with your loved ones. Just, please, don’t forget your dance moves! Okay, you may all go now. Advanced Happy New Years!”

They all greeted him back and got their bags. They went out of the room and all went their separate ways. Hwayoung, in the other hand, went straight to the shower room to shower and change. While she was getting all her fresh clothes, her phone wouldn’t stop vibrating.

10 text messages and 4 missed calls

It stated on the lockscreen. Who could this be? She swiped open her phone and all those messages and calls were from Baekhyun. Clingy much. That was really unexpected of him. Thank God I placed my phone on silent or Mr. Choreographer would will me.

She placed her phone bag inside her bag and headed to taking a quick shower. Once finished, she changed into a white, quite loose tank top  with a spiral flower design and the word “N9” in the middle, a grey, flowing high-waisted mini skirt and black vans low cut shoes. She also wore her gold Rolex watch, a small back sling bag and a black jacket. She placed her hair into a messy bun and did some touches on her make up before she left the bathroom to meet up with Baekhyun in the lobby.
