2. Getting Closer?

“Aish, why it’s raining today” Hyukjae ran to the nearest shop to shelter him from the rain. He just went out from the dormitory, he pissed off since he got kicked from his own room.

He decided to find some fresh air and enjoy the scenery outside, but it must be not his lucky day, he remembered he watched today’s weather cast. It says it will be sunny but why it’s raining.. he walked on the side ways looking at the stores on his left side.

“Wah, Jongwoon hyung’s bakery shop!” He beamed when he saw a familiar bakery shop. And before he knew it he already inside, staring hungrily at the food displays.

“Ah why all of them looks yummy~” Hyukjae felt that his mouth watered at the various kind of cakes there. The bakery smelled like candies and chocolate, it just made his stomach grumbled

“Hyukjae!” someone tapped Hyukjae making the latter looked behind

“Jongwoon Hyung!” The brunette man smiled at the younger

“It’s been a long time since your last visit here”

“Ah sorry hyung, school really took my time”

Jongwoon nodded, “You got the right time though, I just finished making a new recipe”

“Really?” Hyukjae’s eyes shining, ‘Jongwoon hyung really good at baking or cooking so it must be delicious’

Jongwoon chuckled, it seems Hyukjae said it out loud

“Yes, Tadaaa~! “ Jongwoon showed a yellow cake with strawberries and white creams decorated the cake, Hyukjae feels like it’s a magic, the plate just suddenly popped up on Jongwoon’s hand.

“Whoaaa, there’s strawberries on it! What is it?” Hyukjae stared in awe, well he always like that when it comes to foods with strawberries.

“Banana strawberry crisps cake! Do you want to taste it?”

Hyukjae nodded a little too fast. Jongwoon gave a spoon to Hyukjae

Hyukjae spooned the cake in no time, it taste incredible. He was in heaven. You could taste a soft creamed banana cake, with a sweet and sour taste from the strawberry and when you bite it there’s a crunch sensation from the crisps

“Ah hyung, how can it be so delicious~” Hyukjae spooned more

“You like it?”

“eung”

Jongwoon ruffled Hyukjae’s hair.

“Okay then, I will bake this cake in large size and give it to you later”

Hyukjae’s eyes widened like a saucers “Really hyung?”

Jongwoon chuckled then he nodded

Hyukjae beamed, “Gomawo hyung!! Jja, I’m going back now”

“It still raining outside Hyuk”

“Nah, it just a drizzle Hyung” Jongwoon shook his head

“Okay but wear my jacket”

“No- it’s okay hyung”

“Wear it or you stay here till the rain stop” Jongwoon said, not giving Hyukjae another options. Hyukjae sighed, he took Jongwoon’s jacket and wore it

“Happy?”

“Good”

Hyukjae put his ear on the door, trying to hear anything inside. ‘seems like Donghae’s friend already gone’

He opened the door, and peeked. No one at his room

He went in and slumped on the couch, he feels so tired, his head pounding and he can’t stop sneezing

Donghae went out from the bathroom, looking so fresh and handsome like always

“Oh you come back already?”

Hyukjae ignored him. Donghae raised his eyebrow

“Whose jacket do you wear?”

He was being ignored again “You w-“ he was about to ask again when he heard someone knocking

Hyukjae hurriedly pushed Donghae, “Hide, hide!” before he ran to the door.

Hyukjae opened the door, only to see Jongwoon outside

“Hyung!” He went out and closed the door behind him

“Do you need anything hyung?” he asked wondering since he just met him earlier

Jongwoon smiled. “I just want to give you this before I going back home”

He gave a paper bag to Hyukjae who took it directly, wondering what inside the paper bag

“What is it hyung?” Hyukjae saw a paper box inside “Strawberry cheese cake”

“Waaa for me? Gomawo hyung!!” Jongwoon smiled.

“Enjoy it ne. I’m going, bye” Hyukjae nodded, he waved to Jongwoon before went back to his room

He found Donghae leaning beside the door

“Who is it?” Donghae asked

“Not your business” Hyukjae said

Donghae straightened his body “Arraso, I’m going then” He said while fixing his cap

“Where are you going?” Hyukjae asked, He was wondering since it’s already dark outside. People supposed to be home at a time like this.

Donghae looked at him, he smirked and tapped Hyukjae’s forehead with his palm

“Not your business”

Then he left leaving Hyukjae stunned. No, not because Hyukjae just eat his own words but because he felt something on his forehead.

He touched it only to realize Donghae just put a fever patch there.

Hyukjae’s face went red.

It’s been a week since Hyukjae and Donghae living together, and it took Hyukjae exactly a week to know that Donghae was not really injured that day.

Hyukjae pouted, how could be he was so stupid. Fooled by that brat.

It just like another day when Hyukjae cooked the dinner for both of them, but this time it was Donghae who bought the groceries. He found out two days ago that Donghae worked at a local restaurant as a part timer. They still bickering at each other mostly because Donghae couldn’t stop teasing him, but they are more close than before now. They even managed to make a deal about the room

Hyukjae took back his bed and Donghae sleep on the spare bed on the floor. Hyukjae cooked while Donghae washed the dishes
