Chapter 2
A Fight & Love Of A MotherAfter Victoria took of her shoes, Kayla immediately pulled her by the hand and brought her to the kitchen
"Daddy, where's another apron for Mommy? She'll help us bake, daddy faster" Kayla said as she was checking the cabinets
"Baby, it's okay. I don't need an apron. I'm alright" Victoria said with a smile. These little things is what Victoria always wanted to do
"No mommy, you're clothes will get dirty. If you don't want it, then I'll ask Daddy to give you extra clothes" Kayla said
"What was that princess?" Nichkhun said as he came in the kitchen. Kayla closed the cabinet that she had opened and looked at her dad
"Daddy, give extra clothes to Mommy. I can't find an extra apron. Please daddy" Kayla said, Nichkhun smiled and shook his head
"You really want to take care of mommy huh? Okay princess, I'll give Mommy extra clothes" Nichkhun said with a bit of a laugh
As Nichkhun went to his room to find extra clothes for Victoria, in the kitchen, mother and daughter were busy doing the batter of the cookies.
"Do you and Daddy bake cookies when he don't have work baby?" Victoria asked
"Not always, sometimes we would go to the park, the mall or an amusement park. But today I wanted to bake cookies" Kayla said
"Is it the two of you only? Or someone else goes with you?" Victoria asked, curiously
"Most of the time it's us, but sometimes Taecyeon, Changsung, Wooyoung, Junho and Minjun samchuns along with their family come with us too. But not as often" Kayla said, Victoria nods
"Sometimes, I get jealous of them." Kayla said in a low voice, Victoria looked at her confused
"Why is that baby?" Victoria asks, Kayla took in a deep breath before answering
"Because they have a sibling to play with and their with moms. But Daddy said that my mom will come soon. And Daddy was right, my mom came. And she's staying with me forever and ever" Kayla said with a smile
Victoria smiled, Nichkhun really take good care of Kayla. "Yes, mommy will stay with baby Kayla forever and ever" Victoria replied
Little did both of them know that Nichkhun was watching them from a far. He already got extra clothes for Victoria but he stopped when he heard them both talk
'If you haven't left us, we'd be complete and happy like right now.' Nichkhun thought to himself as he watched them both, sighing to himself
"Oh Daddy, there you are. Look, we're done with the batter, were going to make the cookies now." Kayla said with a huge smile plastered on her face
"How about we let Mommy change first? Like you said, let's not get mommy's clothes dirty" Nichkhun said, Kayla nods
Nichkhun walked over to Victoria and gave her clothes. As Nichkhun stepped closer to Victoria, he noticed that there was flour on her face
Victoria didn't know how to react when Nichkhun came closer than what she expected, so she just bit her lip and see what will Nichkhun do
"You have some flour on your face. Here, wear this. I hope this will fit you. Go change now" Nichkhun said as he wiped the flour off her face and handed over the clothes
"T-thank y-you. Uh, where's the bathroom? I'm going to change there" Said Victoria, stuttering a bit
Nichkhun backed away, giving space for Victoria. Nichkhun directed Victoria to the bathroom and went back to the kitchen
"Daddy, I like Mommy. She's nice. I want to know her more." Kayla said as soon as she spotted Nichkhun coming back to the kitchen
"Do you really want to know her more, Princesses? Are you happy that Mommy came back?" Nichkhun said, Kayla nods
"So when your at work, I'll ask Mommy if she can come over and stay with me. Now that I have mommy, I don't always have to stay home with nanny." Kayla said with a smile, Nichkhun patted her head and smiled as well
"But what if Mommy has work too, Princess? What will you do?" Nichkhun asked
"Then I'll just stay home with nanny then." Kayla said, before Nichkun could respond, Victoria walked in, hearing the words Kayla just said
"You have a nanny baby?" Victoria asked, Nichkhun saw that the shirt he gave was like a dress on Victoria and her hair was messily tied up in a bun
"Yes mommy, Nanny would come over when Daddy is busy with work. Sometimes Nanny would pick me up from school, if he's really busy but most of the time, it's daddy picking me up" Kayla explained
"Then I can pick you up too. I mean if that's alright with your dad" Victoria said with a smile, Kayla got excited and looked at Nichkun
"That's alright with me." Nichkun said, Kayla happily clapped her hands and did a little dance
"Shall we start forming and bake the cookies then?" Victoria said
