Chapter 10
A Fight & Love Of A Mother"I'm assuming it's really good, huh baby? You look like you haven't eat in weeks, slow down your eating baby." Victoria says with a slight chuckle
"It's too good to be eaten slow Mommy. Look, Daddy is even doing the same" Kayla said, pointing at Nichkhun, Victoria laughs
"Don't eat too fast or you're going to regret it later" Victoria says, both nods and obeys
After eating and doing the dishes, they all decided to watch a movie to close of the evening
The movie that Kayla chose to watch was a classic Disney movie and of course, Kayla was so into it
"Come here Princess, lay down here. Don't lay down on the floor, it's dirty." Nichkhun said, Kayla gets up from the floor and lays down on Nichkhun's lap
"I'm sleepy Daddy" Kayla says, rubbing her eyes. Nichkhun smiles a bit
"Baby, let's go change first then we'll go head to bed okay? Come on, baby" Victoria says, Kayla her puts hands up, indicating that she wants to be carried
"Princess, you'll be too heavy for Mommy" Nichkhun said, Kayla pouts
"It's okay, I can manage." Victoria says with a smile before picking Kayla up and bringing her to the bathroom to get washed up
After getting Kayla changed and washed up, Victoria and Kayla headed to Nichkhun's room and laid down on the bed
"Stay with me, Mommy. Don't leave me" Kayla says when she notices that Victoria was going to leave the room
Victoria smiles and walks back to the bed. Victoria laid down next to Kayla and pulled her into an embrace, her hair before Kayla gets in a deep slumber
"Sweet Dreams,baby. Mommy will see you tomorrow" Victoria whispers planting a kiss on top of her head
After making sure Kayla was in a deep slumber, she gets out of bed and headed to the living room
"She's asleep already?" Nichkhun asks, Victoria takes a seat next to him, nodding as a reply
"She must have been really tired today, let her rest. She needs a lot of energy" Victoria says with a slight smile
"If you're tired, go ahead and sleep. Don't force yourself to stay up when you know you can't. It's alright if you sleep before me" Nichkhun said, Victoria shakes her head
"No, I'm fine. Hey, let's go out back and look at the stars! Come on" Victoria says before getting and heads to the porch at the back
Before following Victoria, Nichkhun went to go get an extra blaknet, for he knows it's cold outside
As Victoria was busy staring at the stars, she didn't felt that Nichkhun placed a blanket on her legs
"Thank you" Victoria thanked Nichkhun, he smiled a bit before sitting down next to her
They both stayed in silence for a while, before Victoria broke the ice by talking
"This feels like when we were on that little trip at the country side, star gazing" Victoria said, turning her head to look at Nichkhun
"It does, you even said, that you don't need a star because you have me." Nichkhun said with a slight chuckle, Victoria blushes a bit
"Since when you became cheesy?" Nichkhun teases, Victoria laughs
"I've been cheesy, I just don't show it that often. I'm not like you who is so cheesy" Victoria says with a smile.
"I guess being cheesy and sweet captured your heart right?" Nichkhun continues to tease Victoria
"You could say that." Victoria says with a laugh, Nichkhun smiles
"Reminiscing the past is really fun, you get a good laugh out of it, don't you think?" Victoria says, Nichkhun nods
"It's gives a refreshing feeling. I like it" Nichkhun says, Victoria smiles
"When I look at the stars, I feel like I'm seeing a lot of you. It's like you're watching over me" Now, it's Victoria's turn to tease Nichkhun
"Now who's being cheesy, did the tables just turn? It's cute, I like this part of you, it's so different" Nichkhun says with a chuckle, Victoria giggles a bit
Unexpectedly, Victoria leans her head on Nichkhun's shoulder, it surprised Nichkhun, he could feel his heart stopping at that moment
"This feels nice, it really does." Victoria says before dozing off into a deep sleep
Nichkhun took a look at Victoria and saw that she already fell asleep on his shoulder, Nichkhun shook his head and smiled
Nichkhun carefully carried Victoria back to the bedroom, where he carefully laid Victoria down next to Kayla, without waking them both
"Stay here next to me. Don't leave my side" Victoria mumbles but loud enough for Nichkhun to hear
Nichkhun smiles and lays down next to Victoria. He brought the blanket over them both, and drifted into his own dream land
