Chapter 8
A Fight & Love Of A MotherNichkhun suddenly wanted to taste Victoria's lips one more time, is it weird to feel that way? Nichkhun thought to himself
"Princess, do you want to watch tv or is there anything else you want to do?" Nichkhun asked, avoiding the weird tension that was suddenly created between him and Victoria
"Let's just watch TV Daddy, come on. Let's go!" Says Kayla, walking out of the room, leaving Nichkhun and Victoria
"Sorry if you felt pressured" Nichkhun says as he could feel his ears turning hot, Victoria could only smile
"Don't, your daughter wanted it. It's alright with me. Anything to make her happy, I'll do it" Victoria says, Nichkhun nods
Victoria is not going to lie, when their lips parted, she wanted more. Although it was simple kiss, Victoria yearned for more
'What's going on with me? Aish,it's too soon to be thinking like this' Victoria told herself
Both Nichkhun and Victoria went out of the room and went to the living room, where they found Kayla lying down on the couch, so focused on the tv
"Aigoo, Princess lift your head up and place it on Daddy's lap" Nichkhun said, Kayla obeys and does what was told
As they were all focused on the tv, they didn't see the time flew by and t was already late into the evening. Even Kayla and Nichkhun fell asleep
Victoria saw how knocked out they were, she smiled to herself and quietly got up and went to the Kitchen
Victoria searched the fridge for left over ingredients and decided to whip up something they could all eat before going to bed
She saw that they have bought eggs, sausage, left over vegetables, squash and some rice left over. She decided to do fried rice and squash pancakes
As Victoria was busily cooking, meanwhile in the living room, Nichkhun woke up and saw that Victoria wasn't there
Nichkhun carefully carried to his bedroom since she wanted to sleep there and carefully closed the door without creating too much noise
"What are you making?" Nichkhun said, looking over Victoria's shoulder as she was flipping the squash
Victoria almost jumped hearing Nichkhun's voice, to which Nichkhun laughs at
"Food. We've got to have something in our stomachs before calling it a night" Victoria replied with a slight smile
"It's smells really good, do you need any help?" Nichkhun asked, Victoria shook her head, she instructed Nichkhun to just sit down and wait
It took about 30 minutes to finish cooking, as she was starting to place the food on the plates, she asked Nichkhun to wake up Kayla, so she can eat
"She's not budging. She's in a deep slumber already. I guess it's just me and you eating" Nichkhun said after going and waking up Kayla
"Alright then, have a seat. I'm going to get plates for us." Victoria said, Nichkhun nods and takes his seat
Victoria placed the fried rice and the squash pancakes and handed Nichkhun a plate and a spoon and chopsticks
Nichkhun let Victoria, get the food the first before serving himself and taking a bite
At first it was quiet and none of them talked, only taking a few glances at each other
"This reminds me of the time, we cooked the exact same foods. I was even bragging on how my squash pancakes were the best" Nichkhun said, trying to have conversation with Victoria, so it won't be that too quiet
"They were the best. They seriously were. Also delicious" Victoria said with a smile
"Your cooking is still as good as before. I think this time it's much better" Nichkhun commented with a smile, Victoria smiles
"Im glad you like it, even though it's such a simple meal" Victoria says, Nichkhun grins
"Although it's simple, it's made with love" Nichkhun teased, Victoria giggles
As they continued to eat, the more they talk about different things. For Victoria, it was nice having a full on conversation with Nichkhun once again
"I'm going to wash the dishes" Nichkhun said as he got up and took the plates
"No. I'll do it, go rest" Victoria insisted, Nichkhun shook his head
"Let's just wash the dishes together then. I don't want to rest just yet." Nichkhun said, Victoria nods
After washing the dishes together, they headed to the living room and watched Tv before heading to the room and sleep
"Good Night" Nichkhun said, as he brought the blanket over him and started to face the other way
"Good Night" Victoria replies back, as she snuggles with Kayla and places the blanket over them both
Over the next few weeks, there was total whole new change between the relationship of Nichkhun and Victoria
Sometimes, Nichkhun would call up Victoria, carrying on a normal conversation and like what Victoria promised to Kayla, she'd visit her
Usually, when its Nichkhun day off from work, they'd usually have a sleep over and do whatever likes to do that day
Victoria enjoys her time with Kayla, seeing how happy and lively she is when she's around brings warmth to her heart
She especially liked how her relationship with Nichkhun changed from before. They'd usually call up on each other and even go out for coffee together
Victoria couldn't deny that she was slowly starting to fall in love with Nichkhun again, and that goes the same with Nichkhun
Slowly but surely, Victoria is earning back the trust from Nichkhun. The weeks eventually turned into months and needless to say, their relationship was back to normal
Nichkhun would even initiate a skinship such as hugs, light kisses and holding hands. Both were happy and they were pretty sure Kayla was happy that they're slowly starting to get back together
