"Her happiness means a lot to me.  When she's happy, I'm happy too. Seeing how happy she is today, makes me happy too. You made her really happy" Nichkhun said, Victoria grins 

 

"When she was born, I knew you'll be a great dad. And you proved to be it. I know it must've been hard. I'm sorry." Victoria said 

 

"It was hard but I got through it. Don't need to say sorry. I need to say sorry for talking to like earlier in the day. You couldn't blame me, I was hurt and still am" Nichkhun said, looking down. Victoria eyed him with pity 

 

"You have all the reason to be, I made you suffer when I should've been the one." Victoria said, Nichkhun looked at Victoria 

 

"As much as I hated you for leaving, I'm not that of a cruel person to think of that. A person can suffer without doing anything  Nichkhun said, Victoria sighs 

 

"I guess being a parent, you have to do a lot of things for your child. I burdened you enough." Victoria says, Nichkhun shakes his head 

 

"It's what parents have to go through. Having a lot burden but lifting those off sooner or later." Nichkhun said

 

"About the custody thing, what are you planing to do?" Nichkhun asked 

 

"I want to take care of Kayla too, but seeing how close you've become with her, I'm second thinking of it. I don't know." Victoria answers 

 

"I don't want to easily give it to you, just yet. I guess I'm still having trust issues with you. After what happened, it's hard for me to trust you again" Nichkhun said

 

"Trust is hard to restore when someone breaks it. I understand you, I've broken your trust on me" Victoria said 

 

"You're right. I've lost my trust on you. It's still hard for me to trust you again. I don't know if I'm going give it back to you." Nichkhun said

 

"I'll always be here when you gain it back. I'm never leaving again like before." Victoria said with an assuring smile 

 

"Do you care to explain to me on why you left us? I want to know why you suddenly left when you promised you won't" Nichkhun asked, almost pleading 

 

"Do you want to listen to it and care to understand on why I did it?" Victoria asked 

 

"I wont promise, but I'll try." Nichkhun said

 

"I left because I didn't want to lose you guys. I wanted to protect the both you. The both of you meant the whole world to me. Knowing you, you'd plead to let me stay and get hurt. I didn't want you to get hurt with me staying." Victoria said 

 

"What are you trying to protect me and Kayla from? We're you in some kind of danger or what?" Nichkhun asked 

 

"I wanted you both to be safe from my parents. My family. If they know that I had a child with you, they wouldn't think twice on killing you both. That's the reason why I told you my parents were dead and I had no other family. I didn't want you to be involved." Victoria said 

 

"You should've just been truthful to me since the very beginning. Since the beginning you told me lies then?" Nichkhun said, fumed with anger 

 

"It's not like that. You know that my love for you wasn't all lies! They were all real and sincere.The only thing I lied to you was my family but everything else was sincere and real." Victoria explained 

 

 "Listen to me first. Yes I lied about my family but I did that to keep you safe. You had no clue that my family and yours weren't in good terms. They never were. My father hated you're father." Victoria said

 

"Then why did you chose to love me and eventually have a child together when you knew that our fathers hate each other's guts?!!" Nichkhun said, half shouting 

 

"Because you loved me when no none else did. You made feel special, you made me feel loved. My parents never loved me the way parents should have. You loved me purely, wholeheartedly and most importantly, sincerely." Victoria said, tearing up 

 

"When they learned that I was in a relationship with you, they were furious. They were threatening your life." Victoria continued 

 

"Ever since we got engaged to getting married, I hid from them. I didn't want you to be involved in something that you shouldn't have. When we learned that I was pregnant, I was half scared and half excited. I was scared that when they learned that I have a child with you, there will be no tomorrow for us." Victoria said 

 

"When Kayla was 3 months, my mom found out that I was pregnant and had delivered already. Soon enough, the news spread and it reached my dad. He was furious, he threatened both of your life's. He made me choose between you or them. Knowing them, if I chose you at the time, they'd make our lives miserable and I didn't want that for the both you. I wanted you to have a peaceful life." Victoria explained 

 

"As much as it hurts me, I had to leave and go to them. But that doesn't mean I never forgot about you both. I asked a person to keep an eye out for you. When I had left and returned to my parents, my parents business weren't doing good. I had to help out and eventually become the president of the business." Says Victoria, Nichkhun listens intently 

 

"It took me nearly 4 years to convince my parents to accept you. I worked hard to let you be accepted. Within those 5 years, my parents were getting sick and eventually died." Victoria said 

 

"Before death took my father's life, he said that I should find you and go back to you. He was sorry. Eventually, I did what he told. I asked someone to look for you and thankfully, he did. It took me a few weeks before having the courage to face you." Victoria said 

 

"I don't blame you for not giving me the custody that easily. Even if you won't give it to me, I just want to be there for Kayla and let her know that I love her and will always do." Victoria said 

 

"You have suffered more than me. You fought for us in a way I thought It was wrong. It's true what they, parenthood isn't as smooth. Yet it's a bumpy one. You sacrificed so much to keep us safe." Nichkhun said 

 

"They say a mother's love can never be measured or be estimated. It can be felt with the heart and the emotions shown." Victoria said 

 

"I'm sorry for saying hurtful words. I hated you when I shouldn't have, I didn't knew what you went through to make me feel this way." Nichkhun said 

 

"We both suffered enough. I guess that's why Kayla is here.  To lessen our sorrow, our suffering." Victoria said 

 

"I can never hate you for bringing Kayla into this world. She changed my life. She's my everything now." Nichkhun said 

 

"I know she is. You dedicated your whole life to her." Victoria said with a slight grin 

 

"And you sacrificed more than she can ever know. You're a great mom for fighting." Nichkhun said
