Nichkhun couldn't help but have thoughts of them being a regular and complete family. Now that Victoria was back in the picture, he was doubting himself. 

 

Should he just give custody to Victoria to make it easier for the both of them? Or will he fight for what he thinks is right

 

He knows he's being selfish, keeping Kayla to himself, but he just can't help it. He took care of Kayla when Victoria wasn't around, he was both Kayla's dad and mom

 

Kayla was basically a part of Nichkhun. The momment Nichkhun laid his eyes on Kayla when she was born, he felt like she'll be the light of Nichkhun 

 

"Daddy, is something wrong?" Kayla asked as she took a seat next to him on the couch, right now they were waiting for the cookies to finish baking as Victoria was in the bathroom at the moment 

 

"Nothing princess. I was just thinking of something. Don't worry, I'm fine." Nichkhun replied with a smile 

 

Kayla moved closer to Nichkun and hugged him. He smiled and also hugged her back, Nichkhun planted a kiss on top of Kayla's head and sighed 

 

"You know Daddy loves you right? Always know that, okay? Daddy will do anything to make you happy. I love you very much Princess" Nichkun said as he tightened the hug 

 

Kayla giggles, she looked up to Nichkun and gave a quick kiss on his cheek, Nichkhun chuckled 

 

"I love you too Daddy. Always." Kayla said with a cheeky smile, Khun returned the smile and patted her head 

 

 "Mommy! Come sit next to me. So I'll be in the middle of you" Kayla said as she saw Victoria walking towards them 

 

Victoria giggled and walks over to them. Upon taking her seat next to her daughter, Kayla did something Nichkhun or Victoria didn't expect 

 

Kayla grabbed Nichkun's hand as well as Victoria and made them both touch each other. So it looked Nichkhun was holding Victoria's hand

 

Both stared at each other awkwardly, they didn't know what do or say to each other. Kayla giggles over her parents reaction 

 

"Daddy, Mommy? You had hold hands before, right?" Kayla said as she giggles, Nichkhun and Victoria stopped looking at each other and looked at Kayla

 

"Princess, what are you doing?" Nichkhun with an uneasy smile, Kayla smiles 

 

"Nothing. I just want you both to hold hands. I want to see how it feels like seeing both parents hold hands" Kayla said, Victoria laughs

 

"Aigoo!" Victoria says as she lightly  pinches Kayla's cheek. Nichkun laughs as well. Victoria noticed that they were still holding hands, so she willingly let go of the hold 

 

"I THINK THE COOKIES ARE DONE! Let's go mommy, daddy" Kayla said cheerfully, she got up from the couch and ran to the kitchen 

 

Nichkun and Victoria were left at the living room, laughing away. Momentarily, they followed Kayla 

 

When Victoria and Nichkun reached the kitchen, they saw that Kayla was happily jumping in front of the oven 

 

"Princess, move please. I'm going to get it out. Go sit down on the counter with Mommy" Nichkun said, Kayla obeys 

 

After carefully taking the cookies out and placing them on a plate, Nichkun walked over to where Kayla and Victoria were 

 

"Mommy, have you tried cookies with milk? If you haven't, you should try it" Kayla said before getting down and checking the fridge if they have milk 

 

"Where you going Princess? I told you to take a sit next to Mommy"Nichkhun   said 

 

"I'm going to check if there's milk, I want Mommy to try cookies with milk" Kayla replied, right behind her, came Victoria 

 

"I'll help with her" Victoria offered, Kayla immediately pulled her, Nichkhun laughed and went to go place the cookies on the table 

 

Meanwhile, Kayla found milk in the fridge but now they need to get cups form the cabinet. Victoria tried to grab it but she was too short for it 

 

"Any problem?" Nichkhun asked, Kayla pointed to Victoria. He chuckled and helped Victoria 

 

Their position was awkward for the both of them, well mostly for Nichkhun. Victoria was unaware for their position.  Victoria was in dead end with the counter and Nichkhun was so close to Victoria 

 

Victoria was still trying to grab the cups, unaware of their position. Nichkhun reachd out his and easily  got the cups 

 

Victoria turned around and finally noticed their position, she bit her lip, seeing that their faces were nearly touching 

 

"Uh, sorry" Nichkhun said, backing away. Victoria could only nod, but the strange this is, Victoria could feel her heart race 

 

The three of them walked back to the counter table, sitting down, Kayla instantly poured milk on Victoria's cup and showed her to eat it with the cookies 

 

Victoria insisted on washing the dishes and let Nichkhun and Kayla go to the living room to watch tv or play 

 

Nichkhun at first denied, saying he'll do it but after much persuasion, he let Victoria do it

 

"Omo! How can I forget? Daddy, where will Mommy sleep tonight?" Kayla said 

 

"Uh, I haven't thought of that yet. She'll probably sleep in the bed while I sleep here in the couch" Nichkhun said, Kayla shook her 

 

"Aniyo!! You can't sleep here, it's uncomfortable. Why can't you and Mommy share the bed?" Kayla said, Nichkhun felt uneasy 

 

'Sharing the bed? Won't that be awkward for us? It's been years since we did that, I have to ask Victoria' Nichkhun thought to himself 

 

"Let me ask Mommy first, okay Princess?" Nichkhun said, Kayla nods. As if on cue, Victoria walks in the living room 

 

"Ask me what?" Victoria asks as she takes a sit next to Kayla who was busy watching the tv 

 

"Kayla asked me on where will you sleep. I suggested to her that you'll take the bed and I'll take the couch. But she doesn't want that. So she said, why don't we share the bed. I told her, that I'm going to ask you first if that okay with you" Nichkhun explained 

 

"She wants us to share the bed? Why?" Victoria asked, Nichkhun shrugged his shoulders

 

"Why do you want us to share the bed baby? I'm curious to know" Victoria asked Kayla, she turned from the tv and answers Victoria

 

"Because isn't that what parents do? You sleep on the same bed?" Kayla answers innocently 

 

"Princess, you're right but ah, I don't know" Nichkhun said, Kayla looks at him confused 

 

"I know now! I'll sleep with you and Mommy on the bed! I'll be in the middle!" Kayla chirped 

 

"Do you want that Princess?" Nichkhun asked, Kayla nods happily. Nichkhun  laughs as well as Victoria 

 

"Baby in the middle? Okay, I'll do that. How about you Daddy?" Victoria said, looking at Nichkhun for an answer, he smiles and nods 

 

"Yay! Mommy, you're going to read me a book today then! Yay!" Kayla claps happily, wiggling her body 

 

 "What else do you want to do today Princess? Let's do what you want to do" Nichkhun said, Kayla smiles cheerfully 

 

"Barbecue! Samgyupsal! Mommy! Daddy! Let's barbecue in the backyard and also make samgyupsal 

 

"I don't think we have enough ingredients. Let's go grocery shopping, come on Princess, let's go change" Nichkhun said 

 

"Daddy, I want Mommy to change me" says Kayla, Nichkhun nods. Kayla immediately got up and pulled Victoria to her room
