Chapter 4
A Fight & Love Of A Mother"How do you like my room mommy?" Kayla said as she twirled around the room, giggling away
"Your Dad really treats you as a real Princess huh? It's beautiful baby" Victoria said with a smile
Kayla's room wasn't too big or too small, it was perfect for. Victoria was amazed on how Nichkhun put effort into her, she can see that Kayla was Daddy's girl
Next to her bed, Victoria saw a picture frame. She looked at it and noticed that it was photo when Kayla was a newborn being carried by Nichkhun and Victoria
Victoria could clearly remember that day, it was one of the days were she felt her happiest
[FlashBack]
"She's beautiful as you. You did great, thank you. Yeobo,I love you" Nichkhun said as he carried their newborn baby closer to Victoria
Victoria smiled faintly as she heard those words. Although she was very tired, seeing how healthy her baby was gave her enough energy
"I love you too yeobo. What should we name her?" Victoria asked as she looked lovingly at Nichkhun and the baby
"Kayla. She'll be named Kayla Horvejkul" Nichkhun said as he shows Victoria his charming smile, Victoria smiles back and asks if she can carry her
Carefully, Victoria got up from the bed and held out her arms to carry Kayla. Once Kayla was secured in her arms, Victoria gently placed a kiss on its small forehead
"Look yeobo, she's waking up." Victoria called out Nichkhun. Just on time, one of the nurses came in
"Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Horvejkul. You have a very beautiful baby." The nurse congratulated the couple, Nichkhun and Victoris looked up and smiled at the nurse
"If you don't mind, can you please take a photo of us?" Nichkhun asked the nurse, getting the camera ready
The nurse gladly accepted it and took their photo. She handed back the camera, Nichkhun and Victoria looked at photo and smiled
"Our first ever family photo." Victoria said with a smile, Nichkhun returned the smile
"There's more to come. But maybe the next family photo's will be with more babies." Nichkhun teased, Victoria laughs
Nichkhun sat next to Victoria and wrapped his arms around her shoulder and planted a kiss on top of her head
"I love you both. Very much." Nichkhun whispered, Victoria leaned her head on his shoulder
"Me and baby loves you too. Right baby?" Victoria said, as if Kayla already understood what Victoria said, Kayla smiled a bit
"See, she agrees! She smiled!" Victoria said excitingly, Nichkhun chuckles
[End of Flashback]
Unknowingly, Victoria started to become teary eyed and eventually those tears she was holding in, fell down her cheek
"Mommy? What's wrong?" Kayla asked, Victoria wiped her tears and faced Kayla
"Nothing baby. I'm fine. You have this next to you bed? You put this here?" Victoria said as she showed her the picture frame
"Daddy put it there, he says it will scare away the bad dreams. Before he told me, that even when you're not around, I'd always have you next to me through this picture" Kayla explained
"Always know that whatever happens, Mommy will always be next to you. Okay baby?" Victoria said, Kayla nods
"Come on, let's get changed. Daddy might be waiting for us already." Victoria said, Kayla obeys
As Victoria looked through Kayla's closet, she picked out this a dress that was very similar to what she was going to wear
"Let's wear this. So you and me can be matching" Victoria said, showing Kayla the dress
After Victoria helped Kayla changed into her dress and fixed her hair, Victoria went out of the room and went to get her clothes and change back into them
Victoria quickly changed in the bathroom and also quickly redo her hair. As Victoria went back to Kayla's room, she and Nichkhun bumped into each other
"Sorry." Was only the words they could say, neither of them weren't looking at each in the eye, after saying sorry, Victoria went the other way as Nichkhun went the other way
"Victoria!" Nichkhun called out to her, Victoria was about to open the door to Kayla's room but stopped when she heard her name
"Yes?" Victoria said, Nichkhun walked over to her before telling her anything else
"Are you both done getting changed? Do you need more time?" Nichkhun asked, Victoria shook her head
"We're ready. I was just going to tell Kayla to go to the living and wait for you there" Victoria said
"Oh.. Okay." Nichkhun said before leaving and heading to the living room, meanwhile Victoria proceeds on opening Kayla's door
After a few touches, Victoria and Kayla went out of the room and went to the living room, to which they found Nichkhun sleeping
"Did Daddy worked late last night baby?" Victoria whispered, not wanting to disturb his sleep
"I think so, Mommy. I was already asleep when he came home and nanny was with me the whole day yesterday" Kayla explains
"Let's stay quiet, he might be tired from last night. Let's give him time to rest" Victoria said, Kayla nods
Both of them quietly went to the backyard, without making too much noise. Since their back yard had a miniature playground and a few chairs, they decided to go there and wait for Nichkhun to wake up
"VICTORIA!" Nichkhun almost yells out, dreaming of something. He rubbed his eyes and noticed that they weren't around
Nichkhun was starting to get worried but he didn't want to assume that Victoria took Kayla away, so he searched the house for them
He checked the rooms, kitchen but the one place he haven't checked was the backyard. So Nichkhun quickly went to the backyard and checked
Once he got to the backyard, Nichkhun saw that Victoria and Kayla were playing on the miniature playground
"Why didn't you wake me up?" Nichkhun said as he got close to the playground, Victoria turned around and smiled a bit
"You were sleeping peacefully, so I didn't want to disturb you. Also Kayla told me that you came home last night" Victoria explains, Nichkhun nods
"So let's get going to the grocery store?" Nichkhun said, Victoria nods. She called Kayla to come down from the slide
Eventually, they finally left to the grocery store and bought the ingredients.
