A Fight & Love Of A Mother"You're right, I can never understand because you will never care to explain it to me" Nichkhun said
Before Victoria could reply, she was stopped when both heard a voice that was calling out.
"Daddy?! Daddy?! What's taking you so long?!" Kayla yelled out, hearing the sweet voice, Victoria wanted to cry more but stopped herself and wiped her tears
"Daddy, there you are. Eh?! Who are you are?" Kayla asked when she found Nichkhun by the door, talking to Victoria
Victoria looked at Nichkhun, asking permission if she could tell Kayla that she's her mom. As much as Nichkhun didn't want to give custody to Victoria, he still wants Kayla to know the truth and not lies
"Go on, tell her. She deserves to know the truth, I don't want her to live with lies." Nichkhun said, Victoria grinned a bit and proceeded
Victoria knelt down to reach Kayla's height and stared at her. Victoria couldn't help but cry upon seeing her so close
"Why are you crying, ahjuma? Daddy said, people who cry are the people who got hurt. Did you get hurt?" Kayla said, slowly reaching out her hand, and wiping Victoria's tears
"Ani, I didn't get hurt. I wished I was the one who got hurt instead of someone else." Victoria said, Kayla looked at her confused
"Kayla, I'm your mom. I'm your real mom. I'm so sorry for not being there for you, baby. I'm sorry" says Victoria, pulling Kayla into a hug and sobbing
What Victoria nor Nichkhun didn't expect, Kayla hugged her back. With her action, Victoria cried for more
"You're my mom? How come you just come now?" Kayla said pulling out of the hug
"I had to do something baby. It was my falut for taking so long. I want to make it up to you." Victoria said, Kayla didn't know what to do, so she went next to Nichkhun and his her face behind his leg
"Daddy, is that true? Is she my mom?" Kayla said shyly, Nichkhun sighed
"Don't get mad at me okay? Yes princess, she's your mom. It's true." Nichkhun said
"Mommy? You're my mommy?" Kayla said as she walked to Victoria, Victoria became teary eye again, it felt good to hear the words 'mommy' from Kayla's mouth
"Yes baby. I'm your mommy." Victoria said with a bright smile, unexpectedly Kayla hugged her
"Mommy loves you. She always does." Victoria said in the hug
"Does that mean your going to live with me and Daddy? You'd stay here right?" Kayla said
"Princess, we can't do that. Mommy can't do that." Nichkhun said
"Why daddy? You and Mommy are married right? So that means you stay together and live together" Kayla said
"Baby, daddy is right. We can't do that. It's not as easy than you think. If you want, Mommy can always come over to visit you" Victoria said
"Okay.. Can you sleep here tonight? Just for tonight please?" Kayla said with a pout a
"If Daddy says yes, then I will." Victoria said, as she looked at Nichkhun.
"Anything for you Princess. Mommy can sleep here tonight" Nichkhun said with a slight smile
"Yay! Let's have a sleep over! Mommy you want to bake cookies with us? Daddy is getting the things ready. Come mommy" Kayla chirped happily, pulling Victoria towards the kitchen
"Let Mommy take off her shoes first." Nichkhun said, Kayla stopped and waited for Victoria to do so
Before Victoria was pulled once again, she mumbled 'thank you' to Nichkhun to which Nichkhun grinned
