Description
In this society we were able to live freely. That was until we reached a certain age. We all lived with our birth parents, and hung out with which ever friends we had. But once we entered high school we were assigned our status. We had no say in where we would end up, we could either be in the rich, the poor, the populars, the nerds, the jocks, or the nobodies. With all these different groups, they had a rule, we weren't suppose to interact with anyone that was outside of our group, not even our parents because they were different. Everyone seemed to enjoy this type of lifestyle, except me. I like to call Seoul Academy the prison years. For those 4 years of your life in high school, you are imprisoned to those rules of no contact. Though, the rich kids were usually already born into wealth, so they can break the rules as they please, same with the populars and jocks. As for the other groups, we weren't so fortunate. We had to make new friends within the group and we weren't allowed to see our parents or childhood friends. All of this to me, was crazy. For them to choose how you live just seems insane to me. If this is a so called free world, why are we forced into things we don't want to deal with? Why is it that we are forced to think we are different from the rest, or that we aren't equal? In my view, this was the worst place. I hated this school- no rather I detested it. I can't wait to get out of this hell hole. That's just me though, Ailee.......

Main Characters:
Ailee
Ailee is a 17 year old who has described her years in high school as 'Prison Years'. When she got into high school she was assigned her status as 'poor'. Her parents weren't as wealthy as others therefore making her being put into that category. Her parents own a small ramen shop in downtown Seoul, though her parents aren't the richest, she was able to get into Seoul Academy, the best High School in Seoul with her A+ average. She is very quiet and non-talkative girl who tends to come off as ignorant but it's because she isn't able to express herself very well. She is very thankful to her best friend who is there to help her even with her terrible fashion style. Throughout her school year she was able to keep silent and stay in the crowd being unnoticed. But what will happen when the biggest playboy in Seoul Academy notices her?
Taeyang
Taeyang is a 17 year old who is wealthy as can be, given that his father is the CEO of the biggest company in Seoul. His father is the Chairman of Dong Incorporation, thus making him the next Chairman of the company. He is the biggest playboy in Seoul Academy, he makes all the girls fall for him in just a wink or even a look. He is an over-confident, cold-hearted and arrogant guy, though he always has his best friend Nichkhun's back. He only associates himself with other wealthy students because he thinks everyone else is below him. How will he treat Ailee once he notices her?
Side Characters:
Tiffany
Tiffany is a 17 year old who happens to be Ailee's best friend since birth. Her and Ailee's parents were very close friends so they met each other often, therefore sparking the friendship between the two. Tiffany is more wealthy than Ailee but not to the extent where she didn't get assigned the status 'poor'. Unlike Ailee, her parents were able to afford to get her in even though her average was C's and B's. Her father is the manager of a men's clothing store while her mother is the manger of a women's clothing store. That is why she is quite the fashionista that makes sure Ailee gets out the door with a stylish outfit. She is a very strong women who doesn't believe anything a man says until they prove it, which can make her an easy target for men. Will she be fooled by Nichkhun's sweet words when they meet?
Nichkhun
Nichkhun is a 17 year old who is also wealthy like his best friend Taeyang. His father is the chairman of Horvejkul Incorparation, which is the second biggest company in Seoul. His father and Taeyang's father are good friends which also explain why him and Taeyang are best friends. Don't be fooled by his looks, he is the second biggest playboy in Seoul Academy. He may be good looking but looks can fool you, he is like any typical playboy except with more of an edge. Playing with girls hearts is what he does in his free time, he says sweet things to melt girls hearts just so he can crush them in a matter of weeks. What will happen when he meets Tiffany?
