[ Yuri’s POV ]

All the affection stops when my parents notice me.

The person I’m so eager to see finally turns around.

I find myself staring for a long time. He’s....cute.

“Yuri!” Mom throws her hands up in the air, and comes toward me. You just saw me like two minutes ago, lady. Tell me again why we’re hugging?

She lets go of me, only to place her arm around me. I peer over at Dad who faces is bright and joyous. Alrightie then.

The stranger watches me but oddly enough, it doesn’t weird me out.

“Yuri.” Dad begins. He stands next to the guy. “I want to introduce you to someone.” My eyes drift back to this kid.

I feel Moms grip on my arm get tighter. She’s excited.

“Okay.” Is all I manage to say.

“This is Bang Cheol Yong.” Bang what?

Mom pushes me toward him. I almost fall flat on the floor but he takes a hold of my wrist before I even make contact.

Mom, seriously? I hope you know I’m mentally yelling at you.

“Thanks.” I stand brushing away at my shirt. He grins at me.

Then they all start laughing, awkwardly. Mr. Bang Bang immediately stops laughing when I glare at him.
