Creating - General Guidelines and Useful Informations

If you already have claimed a prompt and want to start working on your prompt right away, please take the time to read the Guidelines first.

GENERAL RULES & IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS

• This fest is exclusively about Eunhae romance. Original characters, love triangle or such things are allowed as long as the works revolve around an Eunhae romance. Of course, said romance doesn’t necessarily have to be drawn out throughout the whole work - it can be an opening at the end of your work! For example, you can write about the evolution of their friendship throughout your work, then hint at a possible romance towards its end.

• NO HEAVY VIOLENCE & NO & NO MAIN CHARACTER DEATH. Non-graphic violence is good to go! ual content is fine as long as it’s warned. I will also warn readers when I post the finished works. cannot be explicitly described in your work - it can only be mentionned as something that has happened prior to the universe you are creating. Main character death is only allowed if the two main characters somehow manage to end up together even if one of them dies.  Go to the FAQ section to know the reasons why.
• As this fest is a sort of event aimed for 7-18, your works have to have a happy ending. Angst is fine as long as Hyukjae and Donghae somehow end up together in the end. And happily, please!

FIC SPECIFIC GUIDELINES:

1. Minimum word count: 1500 words (except for challengers).
2. I realize that a lot of the participants might not be fully fluent in English, but please try to proofread as much as you can! If I find obvious grammatical/spelling mistakes or other such things, I will unfortunately have to send back the works and ask you to fix these. The best would be to find a bêta, although I know it’s not widely common within our fandom - it is not mandatory, however.
3. No “Koreanism” such as “annyeonghaseyo”, “oetteokhae”, etc. Oppa, hyung, halmeoni, or anything that refers to a title of respect are fine to use!
4. Fics unfortunately cannot be directly part of a series you are currently writing, or be a sequel/prequel to one of your fics (or anyone else’s). I guess a few references are always possible, but if the work doesn’t make sense without having read the story you’ve based it on, then I will have to refuse it.
5. There isn’t a limit of words or chapters. Your fic can be a very, very long one-shot or even a chaptered story if you want. As long as it’s proofread (refer to #2) and that it’s finished, then it should be fine by me. Remember that I might send the work back to you if I think it’s not proofread enough.

7. No rating restrictions, but please do warn me in the submitting form.

ART SPECIFIC GUIDELINES:

1. Artists have no minimum requirement, but it’d be nice if your work is slightly more complex than a sketch, except if it’s needed for the atmosphere you want to convey based on the prompt or if it’s your artistic style.
2. It should not make reference to another piece of yours. Well, technically, it’s the same problem as the fic guidelines; I guess it’s okay as long as you don’t need to have seen your other works to fully appreciate this specific project.

4. No rating restrictions, but please do mark it in the submitting form.
