When It Rains
Min knew it was late, but she couldn't help but blame her parents for that. They had met with her for money again. Although she was just eighteen, she managed her money better than her parents.

Min and her parents used to live together and were once a happy family. They were rich but her parents got into drugs and everything fell after that. It was around the time when she was fifteen when her parents came home drunk one night. They were mad and started to abuse her. This continued and when she turned sixteen, she decided to leave and live by herself. She took her bank account, one made and filled with a sufficient amount of money by her parents (when they were still in their right minds), and left.

She transferred all the money to a new account so that her parents couldn't take it away. She bought a new house and kept a roof over her head by creating video games and investing. She made a lot of money and spent it wisely. Although she was happy living alone, she missed the feeling of family around her.

Unfortunately, her parents never changed and were still deep down in their mess, but the worst part of it was that they found her. They saw her living well and asked for money. Before Min could even respond, they blamed her for taking money from them and that it should be more than right to give them money. Min was going to say yes anyways because they were after-all, her parents. She gave the exact amount she took from them and left. They knew Min always had a soft spot for kinship, which led them to come back for more.

This time, Min had hoped that they might've finally changed for the better, and agreed to meet with them. Much to her disappointment, they came for her money again. This was already the third time and she couldn't take much more of the bitterness that came with it. She didn't want them to come and threaten her for more money so she made it clear that she didn't want to see them again. She gave  them a generous gift (money), one that will definitely send them away for good.

She was relieved to get that out of her life, but was quite sad as well. She sent her family away, but it wasn't like they were actually going to be kind and caring like before. She probably wasn't even family to them but an ungrateful girl who stole their money when they were in a money crisis.

After all that was taken care of, Min finally got to go back home. She regret not taking her car out today, thinking that it was a nice day and that the meeting wouldn't end so late.

She made her way into the quiet streets. She had to pass through this route to get to her house so there was no way of avoiding it. She mentally cursed her parents for choosing the bad neighborhood to meet up in. Dim yellow-orange street lights were the only source of light in the dark night. While walking, Min was freaking out inside, and she thought that driving in this area was scary. She fast walked the entire time and minded her own business, hoping to stay away from any gangsters and their hood. This was, however, their hood.

When Min was a little more than midway through the district, she heard some extra footsteps that came from behind. She quickened her pace, but was pulled back by a strong grip on her wrist. It shifted her to face the guy and she saw a young, handsome boy.

"What's a pretty girl like you walking around here?" He asked in his playboy voice while eyeing Min suspiciously. Min looked at him, giving no sign of fear, "Just going back home" she replied. "It's a bit late, don't you think?" He asked again with that player voice. It was beginning to tick Min off, especially since she wasn't exactly in the best mood from at first. "Yeah, and if I don't get home now, everyone's going to get really worried." He chuckled, "I would be very worried as well," he smiled. That was it, she no longer had the patience to deal with this guy, "If you're that worried, then you should just let go of me." His face turned serious all of a sudden.

"Why, don't we have a fierce one here?" He stated as he looked back at his three henchmen. Min took this opportunity to kick his most treasured area and began running for her life. Thankfully, she was wearing sneakers, so it was easier to run in.

She ran straight for a block and tried losing them when she turned a corner but she quickly realized that it was a blocked by a fence. Dead end. She looked back, finding the gangsters making their turn to the corner. They grinned and walked towards her slowly.

Min ran up to the fence and tried shaking it loose. It was no use once she found the lock that held the fences together. She was trapped but she wasn't going to give up without putting up a fight. She tried looking for any object that could be used as a weapon. She found a loose chain (around two to three feet long) on the floor underneath the fence. She grabbed it and wrapped one end around her right hand once, letting the rest to dangle to the floor.

Min turned around and faced the four men, who were standing a good two yards away. "Ha! You think a midget like you can escape me?" the young guy bursted into laughter. "Who are you and what do you want?" Min asked. He smirked, "I go under the name Strike. Judging by the look of your face, you don't know me... What a shame, if you did, then this case would've been a little different from now, but thats too bad cause now I want you to suffer," he gave Min a cold glare, "especially after what you've done to me at first."

Min scoffed, "You deserved it, you were trying to harass me." "You bit-" He started but composed himself. He looked around and smiled devilishly, "Well, there's no need to TRY now, is there?"

Min slightly shivered at the sound of his words. She was trapped. She was stuck in a dead end with four guys blocking her only way out. This did not look good at all. Before Min could stall him a little more, Strike already commanded one of his guys to hold her down. When Strike's red headed disciple was walking towards her, she couldn't help but notice two other figures that entered the scene.

At first, she thought that they were Strike's men but later realized that they weren't when they were quietly sneaking up on Strike's other two underlings while Strike was focused on her, with a evil smile on his face.

But before Min could even worry about the two strangers, she had her own situation to worry about. When the redhead was no more than than two feet away, Min quickly side-stepped to the left and whipped the chain at that guy's right calf. He groaned as he held onto his calf. He looked at Strike, who said "Beat her if you have to."

Redhead smiled and looked at Min while cracking his neck and knuckles. At this, Min wrapped the whole chain around her hand and began to punch the guy. She landed a couple of punches of him and received some from the guy.

Suddenly, he grabbed Min by the neck and pushed her against the wall. Before he can do anything more, Min pushed the wall for extra strength as she landed a powerful knee at his sacred place. He let out a husky cry and Min escaped his grasp as he let her go for the moment. She went behind him and kicked him to the floor. He was lying on the ground, groaning in pain.

Without a second thought, Min started to kick the guy on the floor. All she could think about was survival. She could just imagine the terrible things they will do to her if she lost her fight. She couldn't let any of them lay a finger on her. It would be worse than death. Redhead was finally knocked out after a few kicks. Min looked up and found a not so amused Strike.

"Feisty... even better." Strike eyed Min hungrily while he moved forward. He neared redhead, but instead of helping him up like Min would've expected, he walked over the redhead. Min was disgusted by him and swung the chain at him. Unfortunately, Strike caught the chain and pulled her in, wrapping an arm around her neck.

Her back was against his chest and she was being choked from behind. Strike threw the chain on the floor, gaining him a free hand. Following the sound of chain, Min felt a hand go up her shirt. Not knowing what to do next, Min bit his arm and got him to loosen his grip. She elbowed him and quickly slipped out of his arm.

"Ugh! You littl-" He threw a punch with his right hand, but Min grabbed it with both hands, pulled him inward, turned around and flipped him over.

Strike landed on the floor and Min headed for the chain. Strike got up, "You're gonna pay for that!", he grabbed an empty beer bottle from the floor and lunged towards Min. But before Min could react, Strike to smash the glass bottle on the back of Min's head.

Her vision blurred and she was starting to wobble. Strike was going to hit her again but was stopped by Yongguk. Yongguk punched Strike to the floor, leaving him unconscious. Himchan caught Min before she fell to the floor, "Hyung, what do we do now? We can't just leave her here."

Yongguk looked at Min and looked back at Himchan. "We're taking her home." With that, Yongguk carried Min on his back and they headed home.

Chapter 3: Lol. I thought the parental abuse scene was real in the beginning. When she awoke from her dream and saw the handsome beings...she might have thought she was still dreaming. Honestly, if six people were to introduce themselves to me...I'd be like "heheh..nice to meet you all.." then later be like, "um...you're ..eh...handsome-shi...and you're cute-shi...and you...delicious-shi?"

Well..anyways..wanted to thank you for not putting in something like this at the end: "well rain isn't that bad. you met me on a rainy day." I somehow find it creepy if you say it the same day you met the person...
