Donghae saw that Hyejin was wiping away her tears. "Hyejin, are you okay?" he asked as he put his hands on her shoulders. "I-I'm f-fine," sniffed Hyejin. "It's the messages that touched me." Donghae patted her shoulders. "I think we should go and eat. I know one Italian restaurant in this tower." Hyejin nodded her head with agreement. Her stomach was growling as well. She followed Donghae down to the floor where the restaurant is. They both ordered a plate of spaghetti with meatballs.

Hyejin was eating quietly. She was thinking of something she needs to tell Donghae. Out of the silence, she called him, "Oppa." Donghae looked up. "Yes, Hyejin?" Hyejin put down her fork before she said anything. "There is something I need to tell you about your confession yesterday," she said. Hearing this, Donghae stopped eating and has his ears ready. "Okay. What about it?" "That was a sweet confession you made. But I'm afraid I have no feelings for you. I only see you as a friend. Please understand. I still love Kyuhyun," said Hyejin. Donghae just remained speechless and nodded his head as an understanding. "I hope you're not upset with me, oppa," said Hyejin, feeling worried.

Donghae shook his head and look at Hyejin. "No. I'm not upset. I understand you still have feelings for Kyuhyun. I can't force you to love me if you have no feelings for me. If this is your choice, then I'll leave you be." Hyejin showed a small smile. After lunch, she and Donghae head back to the city. They stopped in front of SM. "I'm sorry, oppa. But we are still friends, right?" said Hyejin. Donghae nodded his head. "Yep. We can't be a couple but we'll always support each other like best friends." Hyejin smile and hugged him. Donghae rest his cheek on her head and wrapped his arms around her. 

Inside SM, Victoria saw the hug. "Oh, this is too good to be true!" Luna, who was with her, asked, "What is it?" Victoria point her finger at Donghae and Hyejin hugging. "Look, Luna. Hyejin has a new boyfriend at last. Good! Kyu is mine!" Luna observe the hug. "Hmm......I wouldn't be too sure. Donghae might not be Hye....jin.....whoever she is....new boyfriend. Maybe they just hug like friends," she said. But Victoria denies it. "Oh, don't be silly! Obviously they are a couple. When two people become one, they will usually hug or kiss." She took out her cellphone and snap a photo of the hug. "This could come in handy later," she snickered.

"I had a lovely time today. Bye," said Hyejin as she broke the hug. "Sure. See ya," Donghae bid good bye. "Have a safe walk home." Hyejin waved good bye before she turned around and walked away. Donghae watched her go before going inside the building. He went to the recording studio where the other members were recording their parts of a song. "Hi, hyung. How was your day at Namsan Tower?" asked Kyuhyun. "It was good. We had a fabulous time," replied Donghae. He saw Kyuhyun's eyes were red. "Kyu, what happened to your eyes? You looked like you've just cried." Kyuhyun rubbed his eyes. "Oh, it's nothing. I'm just tired, that's all," he fake a laugh.

"Hyung?"

"Yes?"

"I want to ask you something." 

"Sure. What is it?"

"Is it alright with you if I take your place?" Donghae felt confused. "I don't get you." "I mean is whenever Hyejin has a free day, I want to take her out instead of you," Kyuhyun explained properly. Donghae's eyes were widened. He can't believe that Kyuhyun wants to fall in love with Hyejin again. But of course, he doesn't know that Hyejin and Donghae weren't a couple. "I know I was mean to her ever since she came back. But I want to be nicer this time. You know, just to make sure she has a good memory before she returns to New York," Kyuhyun continued. He began to sigh. "I shouldn't have snapped at my members earlier." 

"Well, by all means, go ahead," said Donghae. "Really? Thanks, hyung," said Kyuhyun.
