In which Kai is a snarky Alpha, you are the only human member of his pack (who
also happens to be a magic user) and everyone likes cuddling. It involves more near-
death experiences than it should, but that's what happens when you decide to be
friends with a bunch of teenage werewolves.
"I don't understand," Yixing admits. "We've known about supernatual for the most
part of our lives, but none of us has ever met a fairy. What else did you have to fight?"
"Witches," Chanyeol answers without a beat, shuddering.
"Wendigos," Sehun adds.
"Aericos," chimes Suho. Then, after a beat, "Shapeshifters."
"Demons, ghosts, poltergeists," yawns Kyungsoo.
"Ghouls are the worst," you say, cringing at the thought alone, and you get a shudder
in unison from everyone, even Kai, who didn't show a hint of uneasiness until now.
Kris's pack goes from curious to shocked and a little bit disgusted in a span of five
seconds.
"This city attracts the supernatural like light attracts moths," you explain. "This has
something to do with ancient energy overflow here. It's special. The forest is special.
That's why my dad came here after he got married and decided to protect it. Now it's our job."
