Santa Claus is coming to town

December special

A/N :: Ahhh babies! It's almost Christmas! I can't wait~

Dear Santa, all I want this Christmas is my bias. If it’s too expensive, he doesn’t need to have clothes on.

Or, well... more like 20 of them? Please notice I don't as for ALL of them... not like I'd mind if it's not a problem? They won't fit under the Christmas Tree, but you can leave them under the doormat! I promise, I'll leave extra cookies!

I hope you all find under your Tree what you wanted, cuties!:) I wish you a very Merry Christmas!:*

must have to this fic: 🎼♫♪♬LISTEN!!!♬♫♪

You'd better watch out, you'd better not cry
You'd better not pout,I'm telling you why
Santa Claus is coming to town,
He's making a list and checking it twice,
He's gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town.

And that's my present for you!~

Junmyeon was eyeing his younger offspring. Something was wrong and  he had no clue what. Zitao had been spacing out since he came back from kindergarten. Now, he was staring through the window on snow falling in the dark. They had seen Kung fu panda countless times already, Jun even could  quote it all, but it was Tao’s favourite movie and he never seemed bored with it. Today, though, he wasn’t paying any attention to the movie. And the plushie panda laid by his side, long forgotten. Junmyeon reached out hand and brushed his fingers through kid’s black hair.

“What’s going on, baby?”

Zitao turned his big, dark eyes toward him with a question. He frowned his tiny brows in confusion but didn’t say a word.

“You don’t want to watch the movie?”

Kid shook his head and focused his gaze on the TV. It was obvious he still wasn’t paying any attention, deep in thoughts.

“Is this about the quarrel you had with the other kid, that Mrs. Lee’s told me about today?”

Zitao wasn’t answering for some time. Jun was waiting. He learned by now, that his kid needed his time to gather his thoughts. Earlier, when the man picked his children up from school, Zitao had been already sulking and with red, glossy eyes. He didn’t want to tell him earlier, what he had been arguing about.

“Mrs. Lee was helping us write letters to Santa today...” he finally said with tiny voice.

“That’s great!”

Zitao shook his head again.

“She didn’t help me, because she couldn’t write in Chinese.” His head was hanging low, like he was ashamed. Even though Zitao was bilingual kid, he preferred to use Chinese, to his father avail. He probably could  make his letter in Korean but he also was stubborn when he stuck with some idea. “Jongin told me that I’m stupid and Santa won’t come to me.”

Jongin again. His nephew was driving Junmyeon crazy, finding Zitao easy to mess up with. His son was a sensitive kid, while Jongin happily use it, for his entertainment. It was so unbelievable that children so young could be so mean sometimes.

Junmyeon sighed, scratching back of his head. He would need to call his brother later. Now he made sure, that he could keep eye contact with his son, gently pulling his chin up.

“Listen buddy. You are not stupid and Jongin is just jealous.” Zitao didn’t look really convinced. Junmyeon petted his head with a smile. “Have you been good this year?”

Child thought for a half of second and nodded enthusiastically. Jun could argue with that, recalling all calls to preschool, but he supposed to cheer his kid now. Zitao was just a sensitive, fair and hot-headed boy, who fought for his rights and to defend others. Junmyeon hadn’t seen it entirely wrong, his child just used wrong methods, often ended with some wound. Probably still better than his opponent.

“Don’t worry buddy, we’ll write your letter.”

“But baba… you can’t write Chinese characters,” kid noted like it was the most obvious thing on the world, raising his brows skeptically.

“True. Maybe you can ask Jongdae when he come back from rehearsal?”

“I think Jongdae can only speak.”

Junmyeon jumped on the sound of his elder son’s voice, turning his head toward kitchen. He hadn't noticed when kid sneaked in and it was surprising for him to find Minseok with a glass of juice, looking at him with question. Probably because Junmyeon was eyeing him like he was an alien. Jun rubbed back of his head with a sigh.

“Yeah, you’re probably right…”

“Santa won’t come to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” Zitao cried.

Minseok and Junmyeon sighed it the same moment in the same way.

“Leprechaun, can’t you just stop whining and write it in Korean? I can help you. Or dad.”

The youngest shot him an angry glare, pouting. There were tears in his eyes and his lip trembled dangerously. Junmyeon was about to come to rescue when kid burst with unexpected words.

“No one ask you, douche!”

Both his brother and father were looking at him shocked. Finally Junmyeon shook off.

“Zitao! What kind of language is this!”

Tao blinked innocently, focusing on the movie.

“Do you even know, what does it mean, young man?”

Boy looked at him out of the corner of his eye. “It’s a bad word?”

“Yes! How do you even know it?!”

“Sehun taught me.” Kid shrugged.

Jun could see, that Minseok was holding back laughter. For Junmyeon situation wasn’t funny at all. Jongin and Sehun were the worst company, he could imagine for Zitao. Even if they were preschoolers, this kids were just unbelievable.

“Zitao, I want you to apologize Minseok right now and never use that word again, understood?”

Kid pressed his lips stubbornly.

“Santa isn’t coming to naughty kids, remember?”

“He won’t come to me anyway. I don’t have a letter.”

Minseok sat on the other side of Junmyeon with amused smile. It wasn’t helping at all. He was sipping his juice, obviously toying with some idea and Jun was sure, he had something great in mind, because he had this amazing talent to solve problems after his mother.

“You can always ask Fan samchon to help you” finally he said lightly.

Now he had Zitao’s attention.

“Can we? Baba, can we?”

“Unless you apologize Minseok, no.”

Zitao immediately turned toward his brother and said sorry. Minseok for a moment if he even understood why he was needed to do that, but eventually he accepted the apology. Especially when younger one nodded and explained that one can’t use bad words, because it mean they are naughty and Santa doesn’t come to naughty kids and if they can go now pretty pretty please. After that, Junmyeon burst out laugh, making Zitao confused. Kid asked if he was wrong.

“No, no, buddy. You are right,” he answered deadly serious and took his youngest on hands. “Come on. Let’s see if Yifan’s home. What would you want for Christmas?”

He was carrying kid to the door, smiling. Zitao made thoughtful face but Junmyeon was sure that he knew by heart his list. Kid nuzzled into his neck.

“It’s a secret, baba. Only Santa can know.”

Junmyeon made a mental note to ask Yifan for a translated version.
