I hope you're all enjoying the holidays and getting the presents you wanted! Don't forget to thank your parents/loved ones for everything~ I would like to thank each and every one of you for reading my stories, and being patient with me and my irregular updating :P
"What happened to your eye?" Niel questioned. L.Joe turned and glared at the younger, though only Niel knew that the blonde was giving him such a look under those sunglasses.
"I can't believe I have to see you at the end of the day too." L.Joe muttered in disbelief. After lunch, Niel had a harmonizing class with Chunji and CAP, and ended the day with L.Joe; so that made it three out of seven classes that the duo shared together.
"And how the hell did you know about my eye?!" the blonde snapped.
"In homeroom, when I fell out of my chair, you lowered your sunglasses and I saw it. What happened? You got into a fight? Did someone punch you?" Niel cranked out question after question, his curiosity peaked. He completely disregarded the fact that he could feel L.Joe's glare burning a hole through the sunglasses and right on his lips, silently commanding him to shut his mouth.
"We're not friends, nor are we acquaintances. I don't even want to look at you." the elder spat, though his voice was lacking its venom. He pushed back his chair and walked to the other side of the room, where he barked out an order for a male student to switch seats with him.
Niel frowned, his lips pursing in dissatisfaction as an emotionless raven-haired male slipped into the empty seat next to him. He watched L.Joe, taking into a account the slight, easily looked over gesture of him momentarily gulping. To Niel, it seemed as though that particular badass blonde was hiding something, and his suspicions were proven to be true when L.Joe flipped him a discreet middle finger under the table.
"Excuse me." the boy next to him called. Niel snapped out of his daze and brought his attention to his new partner. The boy was gazing at him with dark, cold eyes. "It seems as though I'll be sitting here for a while, since L.Joe took my spot."
"I-it seems so." Niel stuttered, completely caught off guard by his polite manner of speaking, as contrast to his neverending piercing eyes.
"I'm Kim Myungsoo, but I prefer to be called L. I heard your introduction, so you don't have to tell me your name."
The brunette nodded slowly. "You don't seem to be afraid of L.Joe like everyone else?"
L grinned and nodded. Niel was all but blown away by how handsome L looked when he dropped his cold facade and smiled. "Honestly, the only thing intimidating about L.Joe is that his facial expressions say bastard. But other than that, he's completely harmless."
"I don't want to seem like I'm prying...but what else do you know about him?" Niel asked carefully, his heart racing with anticipation.
L shrugged. "Not much, really. The only ones who know him really well are the Teen Top guys and Principal Lee. Basically all I know is that the girls love him, he likes to be alone with the exception of Teen Top, and that he's one hell of a rapper."
