Hongbin woke up the next morning, which was Saturday, to his vibrating phone. He let his hand crawl from under the covers to get his phone.

-What the hell happened last night >.< I don’t remember a thing!-

Hongbin

-YOU DON’T REMEMBER OUR SPECIAL MOMENT?!

HOW COULD YOU HYUKIE BABY!-

-Uhhhh…. We had a moment? DON’T TELL ME WE HAD

DEAR GOD!! AND I DON’T REMEMBER IT ?!?!?!?-

Hongbin

-Lmao…. Dude I’m kidding… you just drunkenly forced a kiss upon me...-

-Oh… ok… glad we didn’t have .-

Hongbin

-You seem disappointed lol-

-WHY WOULD I BE DISAPOINTED!

I GOT TO GO BYE SEE YOU LATER BRO!-

-Haha ok bye “bro” I was going to go running anyway :*-

He threw his phone back on the dresser and lazily got out of bed. He did a few stretches then threw a hoodie and sweat pants on. Hongbin was glad Hyuk didn’t remember anything from last night, he wouldn’t have to explain the kiss… Honestly he wouldn’t even know what to explain because he didn’t even know exactly went on either. This was the most confused he’s ever been in a while.

Hongbin wanted to let out some steam so he went for a run, he threw on some headphones and his hood and started to run around his neighborhood thinking.

Did he mean to kiss me, or was it the alcohol? Does he really like me, or is it just a fling? I mean we don’t really know each other… how could he like someone he doesn’t know? What about Hakyeon, I mean I can’t keep doing this while he’s with him. What if Hakyeon found out? Dear God he would murder me… AHHHH I HATE THIS SO MU-

He did it again, Hongbin tripped on a rock, he was too busy thinking to realize there was a few medium sized rocks in front of him and fell. This time he didn’t escape unharmed, he looked down and saw his ankle was swollen pretty badly, maybe a twisted ankle if he was lucky.  .

He grabbed his ankle and bit his lip in pain. Enraged by his stupidity he grabbed one of those rocks and threw it at a fence, which had dogs behind it, and made them bark. This made Hongbin freak out and pushed himself away from that fence and further down the sidewalk.

Frustrated with everything that happened he just decided to lay down on the ground where he was sitting. He looked up at the baby blue sky and just breathed in and breathed out slowly. Before he knew it he became comfortable on the sidewalk and fell asleep. 5 minutes later he felt himself waking up, he could also feel something strange, like if someone was watching him. This made Hongbin kind of scared to open his eyes, so he just opened one. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing so he opened both of his eyes and looked at his stalker very surprised.

“Oh you’re awake.” His admirer was none other than Taekwoon, of course. Hongbin sat up and analyzed him, still with a weird look on his face. Taekwoon was wearing a blue hoodie and grey sweat pants with one leg folded up and the other left alone.

“What are you doing here? Are you stalking me?” Taekwoon looked at the confused puppy in front of him and laughed at the accusation.

“You’re right in front of the dance studio.” Hongbin looked passed Taekwoon’s head and saw that he was in fact in front of the dance studio. That means I ran like 20 block, I would have to walk back 2 miles with this damn leg!!

“I saw you laying on the ground and I thought you had passed out, so I came out here to check on you. But when I got here you were snoring.” Taekwoon laughed to himself but could see that Hongbin was embarrassed so he added, “It was a really cute snore, I’ve never seen someone sleep so cutely before.” He smiled, feeling satisfied with his own compliment towards Hongbin.

Hongbin looked down trying not to smile, but he couldn’t help it, Taekwoon just knew how to make him smile for some reason.

“Well thanks for checking on me but I should really be going now.” Hongbin got on his feet by some miracle, but when he tried to walk the miracle disappeared and was about to fall until Taekwoon grabbed him from behind. Taekwoon held on to his stomach with both hands and brought him to his feet. Hongbin could feel his heart beat faster by Taekwoon’s touch. They stayed still for a moment, both taking in the electricity they both were obviously feeling.

When Hongbin came to his senses he gently pushed himself from Taekwoon’s hands and turned around, hoping on one leg until he found his balance. Taekwoon grabbed Hongbin’s hands trying to help him with his balance.

“Are you ok?” Hongbin looked at Taekwoon, who had a concerned look on his face, and looked down at his swollen ankle.

“I, uh, fell.” Taekwoon couldn’t help but smile to himself. “Hey! Why are you smiling! It really hurt!”

“You’re so clumsy.” Taekwoon smile got bigger, probably the biggest Hongbin has ever seen, his teeth and all were showing.

“Why is my clumsiness making you smile?” Hongbin really didn’t understand why he was smiling so big about something so stupid.

“Because that’s how we first met, by you clumsily falling on me. Remember?” Taekwoon’s cheesy grin was replaced with a loving grin and a deep look into Hongbin’s eyes. Hongbin didn’t know what to say, he just blushed and looked down. Why did he have to be so sweet?

“Uh well I really do need to get home, my of a mom will be looking for me soon. Do you have a car?”

“No, I walk to the dance studio, I don’t live far from here. Do you want to come over and call someone to pick you up from my house?” Taekwoon’s cheesy smile came back with the question.

“Uh, Sorry I really need to get home, you know what its fine ill just walk.” Hongbin was not going to Taekwoon’s house that was just asking for them to cheat again.

“Let me carry you.”

“What?”

“Piggy back ride.”

“You’re going to give me a piggy back ride for two miles?”

“Sure, why not? I need the exercise.” Taekwoon kneeled down a little and motioned for Hongbin to climb aboard. He had no other choice so Hongbin did as he said and got on Taekwoon’s back. Taekwoon grabbed his thighs and secured him on his back. He wrapped his arms around Taekwoon’s neck and grinned to himself. He couldn’t help it, it was actually pretty fun to be on someone’s back. He couldn’t remember the last time he was on someone’s back.

As Taekwoon started walking, he started to sing.

Hongbin didn’t realize till now how wonderful he could sing. For some reason it made Hongbin relaxed,he liked that feeling, he had tingles all over his body from hearing his voice.

“Where did you learn to sing so well?”

“Well, I know this sounds funny, but from my grandmother. She used to sing me a lullaby before bed, and one day I asked if I could sing it with her. I could remember that day so clearly, I remember her being surprised at first but then she got really excited and started to teach me the lyrics. Before we knew it, it wasn’t just lullaby’s I was singing, I was singing everything and anything I could. I remember for a whole week straight all I did was sing instead of talking.” Taekwoon laughed to himself and Hongbin couldn’t help but to join, the story was really cute. “But my dad hated it and would scold me for it, saying If I was going to sing, I should sing like a man or not sing at all. My grandmother, which is my dad’s mom, would get mad at him for saying things like that to me and would tell me not to listen to him and do what I wanted.”

“She sounds like a really cool grandma.”

“She was… But like all great things, she didn’t last, she died not too long ago. It’s funny, she was the only one who accepted me when I came out.”

“What do you mean?”

“When I told my parents, they kicked me out, so I went to go live with me grandma. It was great, I would sing all day to her and she would never get tired of it. But she got sick, and when she died she left me her house. That’s where I live now. It gets lonely sometimes without her.” Hongbin could feel Taekwoon’s mood drop, so he squeezed his arms around Taekwoon’s neck tighter and laid his head against Taekwoon. It was Hongbin’s way of saying, ‘It’s okay’.

Taekwoon got the hint and looked backwards at Hongbin and gave him a small smile.

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to darken the mood.”

“No, its okay, I liked listening about your grandma. She really seemed like an amazing lady.”

“Thanks, she was.” It was silent for a while, with that silence, Hongbin couldn’t help but to start thinking about all those questions he had before. But he wanted to know one question in particular.

“Ummmm.”

“Hmm?”

“I- I have a question.”

“Ok?”

Hongbin bit his lip and finally said what he’s been wanting to ask. “Why me?” Taekwoon was a little taken back by the question and had to stop walking to think about what exactly he was asking.

“What do you mean?”

“Ok, let’s not play dumb, we both obviously have feelings for each other right? Or am I just making a fool out of myself right now?”

“No, you’re right, I do have feelings for you.” Taekwoon smiled to himself, he couldn’t believe Hongbin just confessed his feelings for him.

“Then my question is, why? We barely met and you like me. You don’t really know anything about me and… well… you have a boyfriend.” Taekwoon felt uneasy about the last part, but he went ahead and answered anyway.

“Do you believe in love at first sight?”
