The couple was finishing off their brunch date when Dara received a text.

From Jiyong:

Hurry up to the YG building.

Dara rolled her eyes. Here he goes again, she sighed.

“Is something wrong?” Donghae put his hand on her shoulder

“It's just Jiyong,” she answered

“What's up?”

Dara stood up and grabbed her purse. Donghae also stood up and fixed his wrinkled polo shirt.

“He's making me go to the YG building,”

“Is something wrong?”

“I don't know. He does this all the time. He makes me panicky when he texts like this.”

Donghae could sense Dara's tension. She was talking with her head down and kept moving her hands. He lifted her chin up.

“Babe, don't fuss,” he gave her a reassuring smile

“You know how uptight Jiyong is. He still has no clue I'm dating you,”

“Do I need to personally talk some sense to Jiyong?”

“Donghae, no. It's fine. I don't want any tension between you two too.”

Everyone knows Jiyong played a big part in 2NE1's debut. He was so invested in the new girl group. People just assumed it was because they were in the same company, but it was more than that. He was emotionally attached to the girls, a little too attached. Rather than a big brother, he was more of a father. He was specially attached to his Dara noona, who he didn't even call noona.

“So there is tension between you two,” Donghae frowned, “I know you have no feelings towards him in that way, but I don't like how he keeps acting up,”

“Aww, is a certain fishy jelly?” Dara finally cheered up

“Nooo~”

Dara reached for his hands and pulled him closer to lessen the distance between their bodies.

“I only love Lee Donghae,” she tiptoed to kiss his forehead

Donghae closed his eyes and grinned.

“You look like an idiot,” Dara laughed

“An idiot in love with you.”

He put his hands on her waist and eliminated any space left between them. One of his hands remained on her waist while the other one was free. He caressed her hair and stared into her eyes lovingly. He traced her jawline before stopping at her chin.

“So in love,” his voice was tempting.

As if by instinct, Dara slowly closed her eyes once Donghae inched his face towards her. As soon as Donghae captured Dara's lips, Dara completely forgot that she was hurrying to leave.

“How I missed this,” Donghae said

“Me too,” Dara embraced Donghae.

She wanted to take in his scent and just stay in his arms forever. She loved the feeling of his lean chest and strong arms enveloping her.
