Sandara Park and Lee Donghae bravely reveals relationship.

Sandara Park, better known as 2NE1's Dara, uploaded a 16 seconds instagram video of YG artists and a few Super Junior members gathered together for her birthday. The video's views immediately increased, but not because of the rare YG and SM artist interaction. Near the end of the video, Donghae and Dara are caught being intimate with each other. Something mere friends would not simply do. Plus the caption reads:

I have lived a wonderful 30 years of life. I didn't expect to receive so much love from everyone, but I did. I am thankful for my family, my friends, my supporters, and …. for him. I know you all have waited long. I know my supporters will never leave my side and trust me and so thank you. I love you all. #birthday #party #blessed #friends #love #thankful

Dara starts with thanks but the second part of her caption is a bit off. It seems that Dara is addressing her fans' constant probing about her dating life. It was not until this year that her decade friendship with Lee Donghae of Super Junior was revealed. Many were touched by the friendship, but it cannot be avoided that some fans will protest.

In addition to Dara's video, Lee Donghae also posted a 16 seconds clip from Dara's birthday celebration with Dara and himself slow dancing. You can hear Eunhyuk cheering on the couple in the background along with Park Bom and Gong Minzy. His caption read:

This is the woman I love. However, I hope ELF continues to stay by Super Junior. My love for you all has not changed. I want to be honest with the people who has constantly been there for me. I love you. #celebration #amazed #understand #please

There were many comments in both videos. Some were words of congratulations and some, words of anger and betrayal. It is normal in the world of K-Pop. Dating among idols seem to be discouraged, but few still continue with it. However Dara and Donghae are the first to announce their relationship before being caught by reporters. And for that, I applaud them. May you two have a long, happy relationship.

DaraHae, Why now?

There has been many sightings of Dara and Donghae meeting before, but were never revealed. We had been closely following them but had no tangible evidence to show the netizens. They were even caught on a double date with another idol and singer couple. To be the first idol couple to admit their relationship so boldly, it appears to be courageous. But is it really? The only thing they have revealed is their relationship, but no more details have surfaced. Are fans suppose to just accept this announcement? The length of their relationship has not been revealed along with how their decade long friendship even started. Have they been lying this whole time to their fans? Was it even a smart move to announce their relationship so publicly and casually? Is it really real or another publicity stunt?

Many articles were typed and printed in regards the revelation of Dara and Donghae's relationship. YG and SM were receiving a handful of calls asking for their statements. YG answered the same answer he gave them when Jiyong and Kiko's photos were revealed, that he didn't interfere much with his artists personal lives, which was obviously a lie. SM refused to release a statement because he wasn't even sure of what to answer. The questions were far too personal. Only Dara and Donghae could ask the questions the writers were asking.
