September 2014 – 100th Super Show – Dressing Room

Donghae wasn't the one to hold grudges, especially not against his darling babe, but he was still slightly disappointed about their last encounter.

“You need to stay focus,” Leeteuk patted him on his shoulder

“I am,”

“You aren't a very good liar, you know,” the leader said

“I am focused,” Donghae insisted

“More like hung over Dara-sshi,”

“Hyung,”

“You knew it was going to be hard,” he reminded the younger man

“I know. It's just, maybe I am tired, I don't know,”

“Is that right? Are my ears deceiving me?” Heechul joined in

“I've never heard you complain about your relationship before,” Leeteuk was also a bit shocked

“I'm not complaining,”

“It seems like you are,” Heechul went back to reading a magazine

“It's not always on the happy side in relationships, hyungs,”

“Yah, we would know that,” Leeteuk snapped

“Maybe it's my fatigue from our activities that's making my brain all weird,”

“Or maybe you really are getting tired of your relationship,” Heechul spoke again

“Don't say that,” Leeteuk shot a glare at hin

“I'm not tired of Dara,”

“I didn't say you were,”

“That's what it sounds like,”

“I'm telling you that you are tired of this kind of set up, that's all,” Heechul cleared.

Donghae kept quiet. Heechul was right. He was tired of always hiding and worrying. He's been wanting to reveal their relationship for years now, but Dara's been hesitant. He understands why she is, but he also wishes she'd have a little more faith. He wasn't going to drop her like a hot potato.

“I just want her to be here,” Donghae mumbled.

The concert began and Donghae's eyes roamed the crowd. He knew thousands would attend and it's practically impossible to spot an individual unless they were in the front row, but he was still hoping. The concert continued with the boys giving their best in their performances. Donghae slowly forgot that he was anticipating Dara's arrival. She didn't promise him she would come. Plus she had a schedule in China. She was probably still in a plane on the way back to Korea.

Right before the 2nd Ment, Donghae spotted a figure he knew so well. It has to be her, he thought. It is her. He wanted to get off stage and run to her, but he'd have time for that later. The boys kept on talking when the topic suddenly became who did they invite to the concert. Donghae was excited to mention his guest.

“Who did you invite?” Kangin turned to Donghae

“I invited a friend since high school, Sandara Park,” he couldn't hold in his smile

The boys made a ruckus and started to dance to 2NE1's I Am The Best.

“Sandara Park's brother came right?” Leeteuk asked

“He's not here,” Donghae answered.

Fans went wild after. The show went on though. Dara was a bit touched that Donghae mentioned her in front of ELF. She knew he was always proud of her. It gave her even more courage. She stayed in her spot, not wanting to draw attention. She was to receive a text from their manager when she can go backstage.
