Luhan was heading out of the building with a tired look. 
He was wondering why Jiyeon didn’t come to ask him 
out but shrugged it off thinking maybe she’s busy today. 
He can’t get enough sleep from the day when Jiyeon left 
his apartment. Its because he would hurt her in one way 
or other that he spend his sleeping time feeling guilty. He 
knows very well he hurt her but he couldn’t come up with 
something else to know about his true feelings. Today 
he comfired his feelings. He write everything in a papers that 
he felt or how he react when she’s with him and gave 
it to Xiumin, his best friend to tell the meaning of all the things 
he do when he’s with her. He actually finished writing those 
papers before two days, Xiumin take time in reading it, 
because as busy man as he is, he don’t have time so in his 
free time he read them all which take two days. Today he 
told Luhan about his feelings towards his girlfriend. 
Luhan ask him for help because Xiumin has experience 
in dating girls so who can be better then him to get a advice 
from.

     He went to bathroom to take a shower then sleep comfortably 
after two weeks of not enough sleep. He told himself 
that next day, its all for Jiyeon to punish him for being 
a reckless boyfriend or she can punish him for a week or 
as long as she could satisfy herself. He’s finally going to treat 
her like a real girlfriend which he couldn’t be more then 
happy about. 

     That night he slept, with forgetting the past with a new 
beginning of everything. Tomarrow he’s totally ready to 
take his life in a new stage which he only dreamed of in his 
childhood.


     Next morning Jiyeon wakeup from her sleep with swollen 
face. Her face was hurting and her body temperature was 
hot. She didn’t caught cold, its just her body don’t have energy 
to do activities unless if she wanted to do. But there’s a say, 
the people who felt depressed, can get rid of depressing 
by right amount of exercise, not too much nor the opposite, 
but in the middle.

     She didn’t bother to eat breakfast nor take a bath. She 
just wanted a time to make herself ready for the step she’s 
going to take. She’s not the crybaby type. If he couldn’t love 
her in right way then why would she give him the love he 
don’t deserve from the first place. 

She hated herself for falling in love with a person who would 
never give her the happiness she needed. Maybe she was asking 
too much for him to love her back or maybe she wasn’t good 
enough for him. Whatever the reason was, she’s not going 
back, she’ll move on whatever it takes for her to forget 
him. The feeling she use to have for him now are mixed with 
hatred. She’s in the middle of nowhere. She never thought 
Luhan could ever do this to her. She know Luhan can be ill-mannered, 
arrogant, selfish, jerk even a gangster but never thought he 
would cheat behind her back. Never!

Flashback...

     When she peek inside his office, She saw the secretary lying 
on the floor with Luhan on top, his face was on her neck while 
the secretary held Luhan’s waist tightly. Luhan’s one hand 
touch the hem of her tight short skirt while the other her 
hair. From her view, anyone can see that he was kissing her 
passionately and she’s . She know where this 
is going to end so she ran away from there. Truth to be told, 
secretary fell on the slippery floor exactly when Luhan wanted 
to help her and if she didn’t grab Luhan’s body, possibly she 
would be dead by the edge of the desk in her head, Luhan 
who fall down on top held her from behind the head so she 
couldn’t get hurt while the skirt, he mistakenly touch there. 
The moan was from the pain she felt Luhan’s heavy body on 
her, the floor didn’t help with its sharpness that anyone 
could die or endupwith broken bones. The question is, 
is there’s anyone to tell her the truth that needed to be told. 
No!

End of Flashback...

     Jiyeon’s skin became pale, the depressing is taking the control. 
Remember when she said she wanted to move on, its not 
so easy though. Its been hours, she didn’t move from her 
bed, the eyes that had the look of nothing but blank. She 
didn’t feel hungry to eat nor thirsty to drink. Her parents went 
to their workplace. If her mother would be at home, she 
wouldn’t kept quite at her daughter’s situation. Which Jiyeon 
was thankful she didn’t.

'Maybe the life isn’t always about love like how drama shows 
and its the best chance for me to get ready for the man that 
i would get arrange marriage to. Its not like my parents 
would ever let me marry Luhan. They would stop me whatever 
its takes to not meet him once they know he deal with 
illegal job. So its the best for me, for him and for my parents. 
Atleast he give me time to make myself ready.' She bitterly 
thought with tears flowing from her eyes.


Ding dong ding dong


     Someone ring the bell, she’s not in the mood to meet 
anyone, especially not Luhan. Again the bell ring and 
ring. Finally when she was tired, she went to open the door, 
the fear of seeing Luhan so early made her to hesitate. She’s 
not ready to face him but what make her wonder why he 
was here. He was avoiding her but now he came to her himself. 
Her heart was beating fast in her ribcage, she got a dizzy, 
nervous feeling all of a sudden.

Ding dong.

She opened the door slowly, she only get her head outside 
to tell Luhan off.

“I- what excuse me, i’m sorry for opening the door late.” She 
said to the lady that live near here. She got shocked looking 
at Jiyeon’s swollen face, messy hair and the pajama. Why 
would anyone wear pajama at 1pm but nonetheless she smiled 
awkwardly at Jiyeon.

“Do you need something miss?” Jiyeon asked trying her 
best to be polite.

     The lady smiled, held out her right hand for shake. “I was 
just passing by and thought to pass these cookies to this house. 
Is your mother at home?”

     Jiyeon shake her hand and smiled apologetically. “She 
went to work and come home before 6 pm, anything you 
want me to tell her?”

“No no its okay, i just wanted to meet her that’s all, 
anyway have a nice day.” She bid goodbye to Jiyeon and 
went away.

     Jiyeon felt relieve that it wasn’t Luhan, now atleast she 
got more time to prepare her speech of breaking up. When 
she was about to go to her room the bell ring again, with 
a sigh she went down with a little bit of a fear that it might 
can be Luhan, she gulped to wet her suddenly dry throat. When 
she opened the door, she smiled at the same lady.

“Can i help you miss?”

“Nah i just wanted to tell you good morning and it would 
be better if you change cloths and brush your hair.” The 
lady smiled and this time really went off.

     Jiyeon looked at her figure weirdly. 'Why would she 
tell me what to do, i know how to take care of myself.' She 
thought and went back.

     The bell ring in her bedroom’s mid way making her 
stop her step, annoyed at the bell ring which ring again.

     Her steps were heavy, showing how annoyed she was 
and opened the door wider this time but to her disappointment 
she came face to face with the person she was not ready 
to meet. Her mouth hang open and suddenly, she lost the 
words in her throat, dizziness came in oneshot, with 
no reason the air that pass by her suddenly made her eyes 
full of tears, blurring the face of that person on her view, 
with sweats forming on her body and lack of energy and food 
she fainted. She fainted infront of the smiling Luhan who 
without wasting a time grabbed her in his arms before 
she could fall down.

     It was all too sudden. Her eyes slowly half opened, everything 
was blurred, nothing makes sense in her eyes so she close 
and opened them again this time it wasn’t too clear nor too 
blurred but she wanted to take a good look so she closed 
and opened again.

The white and light blue colour and the medicine smell 
remind her that this place is no other then hospital. She wanted 
to move but realised that she can’t because of the oxygen 
bottle that hang on top of the bed with needle in her hand 
connected to her. After this she didn’t attempt to move. She’s 
not that reckless about her health.

     The doctor came in with someone behind him. When finally 
she saw that angelic face, the worried eyes, the small lips, 
everything lost in her mind and she keep looking at the guy 
who’s busy talking to the doctor.

     The doctor looked at her and did a small checkup before 
going out, leaving her alone with Luhan.

'Now what? The fate is mocking me that i don’t have 
pride because he’s the one that always save me. Yeah yeah 
i understand there’s no pride left in me.' She thought 
sarcastically on herself.

     Luhan was standing awkwardly infront of her. Scratching 
the nape. When Jiyeon’s eyes went to his, she couldn’t believe 
that Luhan was reacting this way. The GREAT Luhan acting 
shy or awkward infront of her.

     Normally in such a situation he would nag or anything 
but not that one. For example 'Are you stuped, why 
couldn’t you eat? Or You don’t want me to come home and 
make you eat, you’re not baby but a grow up women, or 
what’s with the duck face and furball hair, atleast act a little 
feminine so that i believe i had a girlfriend not boyfriend.' 
That’s what Luhan previously said to her whenever 
he bring her to hospital. Jiyeon suspiciously raised her 
right eyebrow.

“Why you’re acting like this? Are you planning to do something 
or you get hit something on your head and why you come 
to my house, when last five previous days you were busy but 
you suddenly got time and you bring me to hospital yet you 
didn’t use your cheeky remarks or sarcasm. Why are you 
suddenly shy or awkward, this is so not you, why did you 
visit me in my house? What’s with the concern face, you know 
you can stop acting because i understand everything and lets 
make its the end, let... Lets...”

     After asking non-stop, the last three words can’t come out. 
The last three words she so badly wanted to say which she 
repeated in her mind last night over and over until it became 
like a tattoo that be can’t get rid of 'lets break up.' but what 
no? Just by looking at his angelic and shy self her heart 
didn’t take time to melt and trap in his magic, again.

     When she looked at his face, his mouth slightly apart, eyes like an innocent baby 
deer. The look of surprise he gave her, she know she can’t say 
the last three words, maybe she needed time to say, proberly 
when she’ll get out of this hospital.

     Luhan was waiting outside the ward where Jiyeon 
was sleeping. 'Was i too late? What exactly happened? 
She never asked me these questions in my life then why 
suddenly now? What else she wanted to say but can’t. The 
look she gave me isn’t because change of my behaviour 
but there’s something else, i atleast know her enough to tell that.' 
He got interrupted by the doctor who gave him the list of 
medicine and told him when Jiyeon will wakeup, she can go 
home. 

     Luhan smiled at doctor before going inside the ward 
to check if she’s awake. When she was still sleeping he 
gently close the door and went to buy the medicine.

     Luhan helped Jiyeon to get out of the car. Yes today is 
full of surprise for Jiyeon but she won’t say that she don’t like 
it. When they reach to her gate with Luhan holding her hands 
while with other the medicine. Jiyeon gently let go 
of his hand and turned her body fully to his. Finally she make 
up her mind and she’s not going back. Who knows he’s acting 
then next day he would come to his real self. She don’t 
won’t to hurt herself more then she already did.

     Doesn’t mean she’s doing this because he’s mean arrogant 
with her, no she’s not breaking up with him for this. 
Infact she accept and love him for who he is and not those 
so good and fake attitude. The only think that make her 
to breakup is none other then his love, he don’t love her 
so why should she waste her time for this. If just he could truly 
love and accept her for who she is, then she can’t be living 
her life better then this.

“I... I wanted to say something.” Jiyeon seriously said 
Luhan nodded his head with the sweet smile that her heart 
already broke even before she could say the heartbreaking 
words.

“Lets... Breakup.” Finally those words come out of her red 
lips. She don’t no what to accept from Luhan but when she 
looked at his eyes, they seem shocked but the face he 
wore, the smile that wanted to fade away, Luhan forcing the 
smile to stay but it turned out awkward.

“What are you talking about?” He asked hoping she 
would change her mind and act like she never say them and 
he won’t mind to play along. He highly believed that she could 
say that.

     She sighed, its harder then she thought, with all the 
strength she had left. “Don’t you understand, i’m tired of it, 
lets break up and think positive, after breakup you and 
i had a bright future to look for instead of unrequired love. 
We were not fated, but even then i loved you yet i couldn’t 
get the love from you, lets just leave each other please, i know 
you won’t mind. Its your chance to be with someone who 
you wanted to be always and i was the one who was stopping 
you. Now there’s no one in your way, go ahead and love the 
person who your heart accept...”

     After saying everything, she tightly closed her eyes. She 
felt like dying but this is not the right time to die.

     Luhan who was silent the whole time, wear no expression. 
His eyes that were sparkling for a while now left with dark 
orbs. The innocent look changed to the killer that it actually 
send shivers down her spine but this is not the time to show 
her fear.

     Finally Luhan said something after the whole minute 
try to find out her true feelings through her eyes. “You 
wanted to get rid of me, because you’re afraid to be with 
gangster...?”

     Jiyeon was really surprised at his question. Ofcourse 
she was afraid but when he came to take her and sehun that 
night, her fear came to an end but why he’s asking such 
a question.

     When he got no reply from her, the sad look can’t be 
hide anymore. The hurt word was written on his face 
that even a child can read it. He didn’t come to her to hear 
about breaking but he came to tell her about his true feelings. 
He won’t deny the fact he hurt her too much but he never 
know that she would get sick of him just like that. He as a 
man, won’t beg to women to comeback to him. 

     If she wanted this fine he’ll let her go. He looked at her 
tearful face and the only reason he could come up with 
is because he hurt her badly. He looked at her, his hand reach 
her jaw line, tracing it to her neck then to her lips. She didn’t 
refuse it nor he take a further step then this. He slightly 
push her face with the same finger and let go of her. He smiled 
bitterly, trying his best to not endup crying infront of a women. 

     The last look he gave her was full of pain and sadness that 
even Jiyeon have to think again who was wrong between 
them and even wanted to stop him but the world we live 
is totally different. What had been said has said now all she 
can do is to look at his straight tall back that had a long 
neck with curly hair from behind, his step became faster 
after each because he wanted to be alone.

     Finally he went away and left her as she asked herself. Now 
what’s wrong? Isn’t that what i wanted, but why it doesn’t 
feel right. 

     Thinking everything will be okay tomarrow she went inside 
and sleep the whole day, Afterall the doctor said she needed 
to sleep. But there’s one think she still didn’t understand, 
why did he look so broken. She never expected such a reaction 
from him. The reaction she expected was to say she wasn’t 
good enough for him and she choose the right choice by 
breaking up first. 

     Why suddenly everything seems to turn upside down? Why 
she seems the bad one in the end. Just how?
