It was like they were mocking her, although they don’t intend to.

Sooyoung knew it would be hard but she never thought it would be this hard. She had a clear understanding of everything. She couldn’t blame Taeyeon and Tiffany. They were just doing their job. But she still can’t shake off the jealousy and anger growing inside her every day.

After their fight, she and Taeyeon haven’t really talked at all. It has been almost a week but because of their busy and tiring schedules, they haven’t had the time to sit down and fix things. And even though some may think it was just a coincidence, it seems like their management is secretly making ways so they can’t make up.

Stolen glances were all they could give each other. Signs of hostility were evident in their eyes but it was overpowered by the longing and want that overtook the both of them when they catch the other staring.

“Why don’t you just go over there and take her?” Sooyoung turned around to see Sunny walking towards the couple she’s been watching secretly for a while now. The TaeNy couple was out in public and she was back stage waiting for the hosts to call her and the rest of the members.

She saw the fans screaming and going crazy whenever the two will do something sweet. She even saw some fan signs saying like ‘Taeyeon + Tiffany 4ever’, ‘I heart TaeNy’, and something like ‘TAENY is love’. “Ugh…” She scoffed. She loved the fans more than anything and she was grateful for them but right now, she couldn’t help but despise them. They don’t know how much this was killing her.

As much as she would like to go over there and kiss the living daylights out of Taeyeon to show that she owned her, it couldn’t be done. She doesn’t want to cause havoc in their group and for their company. So she wallowed in her sorrows, while keeping a happy face as she stepped out into the screaming crowd.

Sooyoung didn’t realize how great an actress she was. She was able to put up with Taeyeon and especially Tiffany in public without the fans noticing. She also fooled her fellow members and some of the crew. If only they knew how she really feels.

Sigh.She breathed heavily. She let herself sank in the couch at the dorm. It was finally their day off and most of the members were out with their friends or families. She doesn’t know who stayed or who left. She was just kinda glad that the place is quiet, just how she likes it at the moment.

She started flicking the buttons of the remote lazily as she browsed through different channels, trying to look for a decent show to watch. She stopped at the one where she saw known faces, the other idols from the other companies and some from SM Ent. It was an entertainment show, reviewing what the famous idols were up to lately. Although her eyes were on the television, her mind is off somewhere else until she noticed something oddly familiar on the screen.

She realized it was one of their events this past week and her gaze automatically fell on Taeyeon. Her eyebrows furrowed in annoyance as she watched her so called girlfriend flirt openly with Tiffany on stage. From the camera’s angle, she can clearly see the features of the two, their hands touching, broad smiles, and that sickeningly sweet eye-contact. They look so happy and it seemed real.

Then she looked at herself turning her attention to the fans and keeping her distance away from the couple. She remembered she was pissed off at that point and right now, the feeling was coming back.

Sooyoung was about to turn the damned television off before she throws something at it but someone beat her to it. She turned her head to the side quickly and she saw the person she hated to be in the same room with.

“Stop torturing yourself.” Tiffany said, returning the stare, or should she say glare, that Sooyoung was giving her. “I have to say, your acting skills are good. I have to commend you on that.”

“What do you want?” The shikshin said with coldness in her voice.

“Nothing. I just don’t like to see you watching Taeyeon and I do our thing.” Tiffany took a seat away from Sooyoung. The taller tried to get a hold of herself and calmly said, “Just because things between me and Taeng are not good right now, it doesn’t mean I’m giving her to you. So don’t you dare to step out of your boundaries. She is still mine. Remember that.” Sooyoung stood up from the couch. Before she reached her room, she turned back to Tiffany and said with a warning tone. “I love Taeyeon and I won’t go down without a fight.”

“What is your problem? Why haven’t you talked to Sooyoung yet?” Sunny asked her room mate as they were both doing particularly nothing in their bed room. They both sat at their own beds, facing each other.

“I don’t know. I just don’t really know what to do right now.” Said the leader, who was fumbling with her fingers, trying to avoid Sunny’s eyes that were searching her.

“Don’t you love Sooyoung anymore?” Sunny asked as she stood up from her bed and sat beside Taeyeon. This time, the leader looked right into Sunny’s eyes and whispered, “I love her so much.”

“Then why are you not trying to fix this mess?”

Taeyeon sighed loudly. “I don’t know if love is enough. I’m thinking about breaking up with her.”

Sunny was taken aback with the leader’s answer. “What?! What are you talking about? Taeng, this is like your first major fight with her after all these months! Are you seriously giving up on her?” When Sunny didn’t get any answer from the older girl, she asked the question that has been bugging her for the whole conversation. “Do you have feelings for Tiffany? Is this about her?”

Taeyeon looked at her with disbelief. “No.” She answered confidently but defensive.

“Then what? Seriously can you please just tell me?”

Taeyeon thought for a moment and after a long pause, she began to spill what’s in her mind. “It’s just that I love Sooyoung so much and I don’t want to hurt her more.”

“What do you mean?” Sunny scrunched up her eyebrows.

“Even though we all know that the thing about me and Fany is fake, Sooyoung is hurting more than anyone else. I always catch her giving me these looks when we are in public and all I wanted to do is run to her and tell the whole world that she’s the person I am with and the only person I want to be with. But…” She trailed off, Sunny didn’t speak, waiting what the other girl was about to say. “The consequences are too much.” Taeyeon said brokenly. She felt tears pour silently from her eyes. Sunny rubbed her back and she heard her say, “Let it out.”

They both sat there, Sunny comforting Taeyeon who has her hands on her face. The slightly shorter girl still the leader’s back. “Why am I and Tiffany allowed to be together but Sooyoung and I can’t?”

Sunny didn’t know what to say. It really was unfair but that’s how life is, especially in the entertainment business. This is why they weren’t allowed to date.

“Taeng, can I say something?” Sunny asked for permission and the leader nodded her head. “I don’t completely understand what you’re going through so I won’t act all knowing but I want you to know what I think.”

Taeyeon listened intently, letting out occasional sobs. “It’s obvious that Tiffany likes you.” Taeyeon rolled her eyes but didn’t speak. “I know you know that too. I understand where Sooyoung was coming from. Although what you do isn’t real, maybe the thought of Tiffany liking you irks her. That’s why she’s acting all jealous. And as for your part, why don’t you try to understand what she’s feeling and try to put yourself to her shoes.”

“I already did. And it hurts Sunny, more than I think it would. But I just can’t think of myself and our relationship. We are a group and I am the leader. We have fans and the manager is counting on me. I am responsible for all of you… for every thing.” Taeyeon said firmly.

Sunny nodded her head. “Yes, you are the best leader any group can have and you always think about us first before yourself. I think it’s time to think about what you want. I know the other members would understand especially the fans.”

“I just don’t want anyone to fight. And I especially don’t want to hurt anyone.”

“But you already are. No one is safe when it comes to love. Someone will get hurt no matter how hard you try. It’s just the way it is. And it’s up to you to decide whether the person you are about to hurt is the one that should.” Sunny took Taeyeon’s hand.

“Think about it Taeng, if we lived normal lives, if we are not Seo Nyeo Shi Dae, if we are not famous. Who is the person you would like to be with?”

“Why are you even asking that? You know who.”

“Then that’s it. I’m glad that you know it as well. So I don’t see the point of breaking up with that someone.”

“What about the company?”

“What about it? Seriously, do you think they will fire you? We are the hottest group in Asia and soon the world. We bring money to the company and without us, they won’t be as successful as they are now. We control them. So don’t worry too much.” Sunny said smiling. “And besides, I am Lee Soo Man’s niece. I think I can get to him.” She continued adding a wink.

Taeyeon laughed at what her friend said. If that’s true, then she can’t see what’s stopping her from getting Sooyoung back.

Taeyeon went outside her bedroom and found that the living room was deserted. The other members were gone and she doesn’t know who else is in their dorm. She was about to go to the kitchen to get her and Sunny some food when someone caught her attention.

There in the middle of the kitchen stands Sooyoung, looking over at the stove. Taeyeon’s heart skipped a beat and she couldn’t help a smile form on her face. She misses her girlfriend a lot and all she wants is to make up with her.

“It’s not going to cook by itself you know.” Sooyoung heard a familiar sweet voice say behind her. The taller girl jumped at the sound but she composed herself easily. She cleared and said, “Yeah.”

There was an awkward silence but Taeyeon broke it. “Here let me do it.” The shorter girl motioned to start cooking but Sooyoung stopped her. “NO!” she said all too loudly. Taeyeon was surprised at the intensity of the shikshin’s voice. “I’ll do it.. I don’t want to be called not mature for not knowing how to cook my own food.” The taller girl said sadly and a little harshly.

Taeyeon let out a sigh, aware of what’s going on. “Syoung.” The younger girl perked up for hearing her nick name from Taeyeon’s mouth. It’s been almost two weeks the last time she heard it. She wanted to kiss the girl in front of her but she didn’t give in easily.

“Don’t worry. I won’t set the dorm on fire.” Sooyoung assured the smaller girl. When she was about to start the deed, she felt small soft hands wrap around her wrists. It was the first time Taeyeon touched her and it immediately sent electricity through her body. “Can we talk?” When Sooyoung didn’t respond, she added, “Please?”

I've got nothing against Tiffany but i really don't like all the TaeNy happenings lately.. they are all over my dashboard in Tumblr..

well anyway, this was like a filler so what do you want? Make up or break up?

I can feel the end is near so.. lol..
