The Sootae couple got off the bus stop near the amusement park. Taeyeon tightened her grip to Sooyoung’s hand which the taller girl noticed. “I’m so excited.” The shorter girl said giddily. Her girlfriend gave her a sweet broad smile and the started to head off to the ticket booth. “I hope there won’t be too many people. They might recognize us.” The Soshi leader said with a tone of worry in her voice.

“I hope so too. But I think no one would recognize us in this outfits.” Though there’s still a huge doubt on her mind that they will be discovered, Sooyoung covered up her worries so that she and Taeyeon would enjoy this date. Plus, she has a back up plan in case there would be fans that will recognize them. But she’s hoping to God that there won’t be such an incident.

Jessica saw the Ferris wheel from the distance and she knew instantly where the two were headed. “Damn it! They’re going to the amusement park!” She hissed at the two members at the backseat.

“Aww.. That’s nice!” Yuri said, clearly touched by Sooyoung’s choice of a perfect date place, while Tiffany sighed frustratedly. “I hate theme parks.” She really does. How typical of Sooyoung to pick a place like that. Tiffany hated going to such places with plenty of people and it’s very tiring to walk around the vicinity. Ironically, so does shopping, which she really loves. But this is not the case.

“Why did she pick to go here?” Jessica asked irritatedly at the two as they were still hot on the couple’s trail, keeping enough distance so they won’t get noticed. The ice princess hates amusement parks because she can’t ride the extreme rides since she’s too scared. She’s always been jealous of her friends who have the guts to board those attractions and she hates listening to the hyper conversations after they’ve been on the certain ride.

“Coz Taeyeon likes amusement parks.” Tiffany said as if it is the most obvious thing in the world. She knows this because the other time the two of them were talking, Taeyeon won’t shut up about how she wanted to go to an amusement park. Although they went shooting there for their other programs, the leader said she wanted to go with friends so she can freely do whatever she wants. Even if she resented the idea, Tiffany said she’d go if there would be an opportunity just so she can please Taeyeon but there hasn’t been, and she didn’t do anything about it either.

She mentally slapped herself as she saw the couple holding hands while heading to the bump cars. Yuri leading the way didn’t notice Tiffany’s change of reaction but Jessica did. “What’s wrong with you?”

Tiffany tried to shrug Jessica off. “What do you mean?” The ice princess eyed her suspiciously but didn’t say anything about it. The three members looked on to what the couple was up to from a distance. Fany still uncomfortable about the whole thing, decided to roam around and sight see, again, which Jessica seemed to notice.

The blonde raised her eyebrows at Tiffany’s behavior. Something is up with her friend and she has to find out what it is.

“We’re so lucky! The park is almost deserted!” Taeyeon exclaimed and Sooyoung was relieved. It’s true that the amusement park doesn’t have that much people walking around, probably because it was a weekday and the weather is unbelievably cold. They got to do more PDAs without worrying about the other people walking around.

The girls started to feel hungry after 3 hours of playing and riding the attractions. Sooyoung can tell that her girlfriend was very keen to eat because of the expression she was wearing. She can almost hear Taeyeon’s stomach growl but the taller girl wasn’t saying a word so she decided to take action on it. “Taeng?”

“Hmm?” Taeyeon looked up at her girlfriend’s direction.

“You’re hungry aren’t you?” Sooyoung asked sweetly.

Taeyeon bit her lip. “Uhh.. How did you know?” Sooyoung gave her a are-you-kidding look. “Hey, I’m your girlfriend. Of course I know that silly!” The taller girl teased which made the other girl blush furiously. “C’mon let’s get you something to eat.” Sooyoung grabbed Taeyeon’s hand and led her to the food court of the park. They bought a subway sandwich that they decided to share.

The two saw an empty park bench and sat side by side. Sooyoung, holding the sandwich directly in front of Taeyeon’s mouth motioning that she’ll feed the girl said, “Now say aaahhh..” The Soshi leader had an unsure and hesitant look on but the younger girl didn’t give up. “Open up Taeng. I wanna feed you.” Sooyoung said almost whiningly. Taeyeon rolled her eyes at her girlfriend’s antics and finally gave in. She opened and Sooyoung fed her the sandwich carefully.

“Now that wasn’t that bad wasn’t it?” Taeyeon chewed her food and happily nodded. She had to admit it was really sweet and it’s a nice warm feeling to have someone feed you and take care of you. She smiled to herself as she took another bite from the sandwich. “I want to feed you too Syoung!”

“Sure! AHHH..” The taller girl volunteered eagerly which earned a laugh from Taeyeon.

“Okay. I know what’s going on.” Jessica said quietly to Tiffany when Yuri was out of earshot. They just witnessed how the SooTae couple fed each other sweetly on the park bench which ignited Tiffany’s jealousy. She walked out pretending she’s gonna buy something but in reality, she didn’t really want to watch the two being affectionate with each other. Little did she know that Jessica was on guard and was trying to catch her every reaction whenever the couple would get all handsy or just ridiculously sweet.

“What?” Tiffany said, putting an innocent expression. The other girl smirked and cooly said, “Stop pretending Fany. I know what your problem is.”

Tiffany went on an internal panic. What does she know? Is that what I think it is? Or maybe not, I’m just over reacting. Right. Play it cool. She thought. She composed herself and calmly said, “I don’t have a problem. What are you talking about?”

“You like her don’t you?” Jessica confidently. She knows she’s right and no matter how hard Tiffany will deny it, she’s gonna make the girl admit her feelings to her.

Even though she was having an internal struggle, Tiffany tried her best to look not guilty to Jessica. She scrunched up her face and said, “Who?”

Jessica saw this coming. Of course, Tiffany will deny it. It was so obvious that she likes Taeyeon. But for some reason, Jessica didn’t see it earlier. But thinking about what transpired in the past, like the instances when Tiffany walks out when Sooyoung and Taeyeon get touchy or the ‘I’m not feeling well’ excuses whenever the members will celebrate Sooyoung and Taeyeon’s monthsaries…

It just all made sense today. She immediately knew Tiffany likes Taeyeon since one time when no one was looking (which is not true) Jessica caught Tiffany glaring at Sooyoung a couple of times compared to how she looks at Taeyeon. Besides, Tiffany doesn’t like to be bullied and Sooyoung always do that to her. So of course, Taeyeon is the obvious choice.

“Taeyeon.” Before Tiffany could argue with her, she continued. “Don’t try to deny it coz I already know.”

Tiffany turned her back from Jessica which gave her a view on where the couple was sitting. “I don’t know what you’re talking about Jessica.” She said coldly. Jessica spun her around so she was facing the former. The slightly taller girl grabbed Tiffany’s shoulders and said, “You do.”

Jessica saw the fear and sadness in her friend’s eyes. It’s obvious she doesn’t want anybody to know but unfortunately, she discovered it accidentally, or investigated secretly for that matter. But still, Tiffany is her friend although the other two are her friends as well, Fany needed her the most.

“I know how hard it is to bottle up feelings.” Tiffany heard Jessica say quietly. She immediately turned her attention to the girl, not believing she’s opening up to her. “Sica… What are you-“

“It’s okay you know. I won’t force you to admit it. But just know that whenever you need someone to talk to, I’m always here.” Jessica said sincerely. Tiffany offered her a small smile and muttered, “Thanks Jess.”

She sighed loudly watching Sooyoung wipe off some dressing near Taeyeon’s mouth with her fingers. “I guess you already know why I joined you guys in this ridiculous trip.”

Jessica went to Tiffany’s side, watching out for Yuri who’s distracted at the stand where stuffed toys were being sold. She too was looking at the couple who were now sipping drinks from a can of soda.

“Fany…” The ice princess began but Tiffany stopped her. “I actually don’t know why I went though. All I know is I wanted to spy on them so I can get an opportunity to take Taeyeon away from Sooyoung. But I guess it’s not really right.”

Jessica looked at her friend confused. “What do you mean?”

“Seeing them like this, it makes me think that Taeyeon won’t be happy with me. Although I strongly believe I have much to offer than Sooyoung, I can’t do it to Taeyeon. Even if I really do like her, I can’t take away her happiness… which right now is Sooyoung.”

Jessica rubbed Tiffany’s back to give her comfort. “So what are you planning to do now?”

“Nothing. Just watch and wait. Or maybe move on. I don’t know.” Tiffany exhaled. Jessica continued comforting the brunette. She feels sorry for her friend but at the same time, she’s thankful for her decision. If Tiffany made a move on Taeyeon now, god knows what’ll happen to the group.

“I’m really proud of you Fanny.” Tiffany looked at Jessica bewildered. “Hey, when did you all get warm? Don’t let the ice melt because you feel bad for me.” Tiffany said jokingly, flashing her eye-smile.

Jessica laughed at her friend then turned all serious and said, “Whatever.”

“That’s better.” Tiffany chuckled.

“Hey guys! Look! I bought a present for YoonA~!” Yuri said loudly. Tiffany gave her a smile and thought, at least she’s happy. But Jessica shot her a warning look and darted her eyes to the bench where the couple was sitting. She saw that they weren’t there.

“Yuri~ah! Don’t be too loud! They might see us!” Jessica hissed. Yuri had an apologetic look on her face, realizing what she has done. “Sorry guys. I just got excited.”

“It’s alright Yuri. C’mon. Let’s go home and leave those two to their date.” Tiffany said eyeing Jessica, somewhat sending her a secret message.

The blonde raised an eyebrow at her “You sure?”

“Yup!” Tiffany said sweetly. She’s not gonna lie. She had had enough of the sweetness and her confession to Jessica wore her out. She just wanna go home and cry herself to sleep. Jessica sensed this so she agreed even though she doesn’t want to leave yet.

“Alright. You ready to go Yuri?”

“Uhuh, I’m all set. But I can’t believe we’re gonna leave this early.” Yuri said childishly.

“Well, change of plans.” Jessica said as the three of them head towards the exit of the park.

“So… where do you wanna go next?” Sooyoung asked her girlfriend after they’ve walked around for 30 minutes. Of course, it’s not really the best idea to ride an attraction after eating. So they spent the entire time walking hand-in-hand around the mini games of the theme park.

“Hmm I don’t know what about….” The taller girl was pulled back as Taeyeon stopped in her tracks for some reason. “What’s wrong baby?” Sooyoung asked, concerned.

Taeyeon stood there, mouth slightly agape, staring far away. Sooyoung tried to follow her girlfriend’s gaze to see what caught her attention and then she saw it. She smiled amused and happily as she saw what Taeyeon was looking at.

“Taeng I’m going to the bathroom. Wait for me over there.” She pointed to the large fountain near the roller coaster.

Taeyeon tried to tear her gaze away from the thing that caught her attention and nodded her head mindlessly to what Sooyoung was saying.

“Ya~” Sooyoung said not harshly like what she does to the other members but sweetly. “Did you hear me?”

“Uh yeah.. Sorry about that.” Taeyeon now turned her back and walked over to the fountain away from the mini games. When she was at the foot of the fountain, she saw that there were coins in the bottom.

Instinctively she thought it was a wishing fountain. She isn’t one to believe that throwing a coin will help a wish come true but for some reason, she took out a coin from her pocket and stared at it for quite some time.

Hmm… What should I wish for? Every thing is good for me now. I couldn’t wish for more but…. She closed her eyes and chanted her wish in her head then threw the coin in the water. She heard a plop and she opened her eyes slowly.

She gasped as a huge dookong greeted her, dangling in front of her face. She looked up and saw Sooyoung beaming widely, dookong in hand. The taller girl held out the toy to her girlfriend which the shorter girl took happily.

“How did you get it?” Taeyeon asked while staring at Sooyoung. The other girl shrugged and said, “I won it. You’re staring at it awhile ago… so I figured…”

Before she could finish her sentence, Sooyoung felt she was being pulled down and met by a pair of lips in her cheek. “Thanks yeobo…” Taeyeon said sweetly which made Sooyoung’s smile broaden more if it’s possible. 

So sorry for the super late update. I've been busy with work (yeah i have a job now hurrah!) and my schedule is a whack so i have no time really to write except for the weekends. Thanks for being patient guys.

I have so many SooTae feelings right now after the release of THE BOYS. 

And another story sprung into my mind but as i said no time to write so let's see..
