If Tao was being completely honest with himself, the first thing he saw when he died was not his life.  He didn’t watch any flashbacks of his happiest times, and he didn’t relive any of his most memorable moments. 

He didn’t see any of his dead family members.  Weren’t they supposed to be welcoming him to heaven? 

He didn’t notice the two cars horribly crushed against each other, nor did he see the unconscious body of his boyfriend, Sehun, or the body of the driver that had crashed into them.  The driver that had killed him. 

Heck, he didn’t even realize that he was standing right next to his own bloodied corpse.   

Because, actually, the first thing Tao saw when he died…was Kris.
