Idk mayunn, I just love kpop.

About Me

THIS IS THE STORY ABOUT HOW I GOT INTO KPOP.  IT'S A BIT LONG LUL.

I first got into K-pop with SNSD.  I was shown SNSD's "Gee" when I was really young, and I thought it was the most annoying freaking song in the world (mostly because my cousins, the one who showed it to me, would play it over and over and over again nonstop whenever I saw them).  A couple of years later, when "The Boys" came out, my sister tried showing SNSD to me again, this time with a different concept.  When I realized that it was by the same group as the ones who sang "Gee", I was kind of put off, since, you know, I really disliked the song at first.  But I watched the video anyway, and it turns out that I fell in love with the group ever since.

I became a Sone as soon as I watched the video, and my bias was (and still is) Tiffany.  I learned all of the names and faces of the members in about a day, and I grew to love "Gee", and I enjoyed listening to their other songs as well.  All I would ever listen to was SNSD.  I even learned the choreography of some of their songs.

During that time, I was really young, so I was really close-minded.  All I cared about in the K-pop world was SNSD.  To me, SNSD was the best, and I didn't give two rips about any other groups.  I mean, I had heard about the other really popular groups, but I never really paid them any attention.  Looking back at it, I laugh at myself for how immature I had been.

About a couple of months later, I heard the song "Mr. Simple" by Super Junior for the first time.  At that time, it was one of the most popular K-pop songs out there, so I would hear it being played a bunch of times.  I thought it was really weird.  "Because I naughty, naughty"?  Like, the hell?

But at the same time I thought it was the most hilarious thing I had ever heard, so I decided to watch the music video.  And let me tell you, I watched it again and again and again.  I fell in love with them.  I thought that they were really good-looking and the song was catchy and I loved everything about them.  And even though not all members were present in "Mr. Simple", I learned all fifteen members of Super Junior immediately.

I became an ELF, and it was one of the best things ever in my life, I must admit (not to sound like a weirdo or anything, but honestly, Super Junior has given me the most happiness in my life, aside from my family).

I still stayed close-minded a bit after becoming an ELF, but soon I opened my views to other groups and learned to love them as well (2PM, 2AM, Sistar, Big Bang, BAP, SHINee, f(x), DBSK, Secret, 2ne1, and so much more like y'all don't even know how much I like K-pop).  Now I am much more open-minded than before, and pretty much love everyone haha.

At that time, though, Super Junior and SNSD were my two main groups.  So, fun fact for you guys, I actually used to be a HUGE Super Generation shipper.  I know, xP but please don't hate me for it (the only couple I still really ship is Sifany but idk anymore ._.).  I thought shipping members with each other was kind of awkward, but (another fun fact for y'all) Eunhae was the one that really got me into gay pairings.  So thank Eunhae, my forever number one OTP.

Actually idk cuz I really like Kyumin and Yewook and Taoris tho.

Now when it comes to Exo, it took me forever to learn all of the members (don't ask why, it just did xP) but I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.  So, currently, Super Junior, SNSD, and Exo are my three main groups, in that order.

And Zelo?  Yeah, he's my husband.
