You glance at your watch to look at the time. 10AM. You should get going, you thought. You wanted to surprise Donghae because today is your 2nd anniversary as girlfriend and boyfriend. You planned to visit his apartment since you had his spare key and he said that he'd be done with work by lunch. He was very busy recently and he wasn't able to talk to you that much so you wanted to surprise him.

You wore something like this:

As the only child of the famous Park Group chairman, you had your own apartment and your own car right after you graduated and clothes only a princess could wear. You drove to Donghae's and parked in the parking lot. From there you rode the elevator to the 17th floor and walked your way to his door. You opened the door slowly and a messy apartment filled your eyes. 'Could it possibly be that he's home?' you thought. No...he wouldn't lie to you.

You put all the ingredients you bought for your special meal on his counter. You wanted to cook a 3-course meal for him and yes, you were also a good cook (pretend you are if you aren't *wink wink*). 

"Mmmm...."

That sounded like a...girl?! No..no..he couldn't seriously be cheating on me. There's no girl here. You cleared your mind and continued to chop the vegetables when you hear a girl's voice again. You couldn't resist it. 

You went over to the door that led to the bedroom..and the voices got louder. One from a girl and one from a boy. At first, you tried not to believe, but as you got closer to the door, the voices got louder. Now, you were certain that you didn't imagine things. 

You slowly turned the door knob, your hands shaking and trembling in fear. As the door opened, you found a girl with red hair, standing right where you once were, sharing the same passionate kiss you once had, with your now ex-boyfriend, Donghae. Yes, emphasis on the ex.

"______-ah, I can explain."

Tears streamed down your face like an endless river that flowed to the ocean. You didn't want to believe what ypu just saw, but it happened.

"There's...nothing...to...explain." You mumbled in agony.

"_____-ah, it's not what you think! We're just friends!"

"Just friends...so you also looked at me just as a friend."

You tried to run away, but Donghae forcefully grabbed your wrist before you were able to do so. Right now, he wasn't wearing any shirt, looks like they were about to do...well, you know exactly what.

"2 years...2 full years. 2 years that I have wasted in my life chasing after you, believing you loved me. But you know what? I'm glad I didn't surrender my ity to you because you're not worth it. Have fun with your ." You cursed under your breath.

For the second time, you tried to let go, but his grip toghtened. You waited for him to speak and he opened his mouth, but no words came out.

"And you know what, Happy Anniversary. This will be the second, and the last, I promise. Enjoy the night with that snake and thanks for forgetting this special day. When was I special to you anyway? All those 'Mianhae jagiya, I'm busy' 'Sorry I have to go, the director is calling' 'We're filming, mianhae' were all lies too huh? I'll take that as a yes." You screamed with all your voice, and this time, Donghae finally let go of you. You eyed the girl...

"Just remember, I'll be back." you whispered.

You ran out of the apartment, down the lobby and out of the building. Sure, you left your car in the parking lot, but you didn't care right now. Your tears continuously flowed down your cheeks, never stopping for once. You ran and ran and ran, you didn't have anywhere to go. You just ran. 

The skies blessed you even more. And with that, I meant rain. It cried with you. The rain poured as hard as your tears did, but you didn't care. You just ran. You arrived at the park and you realized you did when you saw wet green grass and a whole lot of kids running to avoid the rain.

You didn't see a rock in your way with your blurry vision. You tripped over it and it made you cry even more. You chose to shake away all the pain, because the pain was obviously no match for the pain you already felt. Your heart sank so low that you had the urge to pick it up from the ground.

You were about to pick yourself up when a hand reached to you. You faced up and it revealed a handsome and tall man with soft cheeks that you compared to mochi and a genuine smile. You stayed there for a few more seconds before finally realizing that he was getting wet.

You grabbed his hand and he helped you up. You ran to a nearby building to avoid getting any wetter.

"I'm sorry for getting you wet." You bowed deeply.

"It's okay, I already got wet before I even saw you anyway. Acutually, we were doing the same thing. Running around the park in the rain, trying to shake off all the pain we're having." He gave a sincere smile.

For a second there, you forgot Donghae. You gave a weak smile at the thought and the face in front of you.
