"..." The little girl makes funny gestures with an apologetic face.
"It's alright. I know you were running around looking for your friend's purse."
"..." The girl looks at him with a suspicious look. He could only smile at her.
"I also know that you can't speak, but it's alright!"
"H-how did he know?!" She thought.
"I'm...an angel." The little girl's eyes grow in disbelief. "Hey, if you don't believe me, I'll give you one of my feathers. Meet me again tomorrow, same time, right here."
"Hey angel, let's be friends!" She spoke to him by her thoughts and he caught on well. For once, someone understood her.
"Sure!"

Jeonghan left the confused girl alone and went back to the realm. Fortunately, none of the other angels saw him. He went back to Earth the next day to meet the girl again. This keeps on for days, weeks, even months. The day wasn't complete without seeing each other - until that day came.

"Miya...I can't meet you anymore."
"..." The little girl looked at him, her eyes full of sadness.
"I'm old enough to go to training now. I have to train so that I can become a great angel. I have to be stronger."
"..." Tears started to form on the corner of Miya's eyes and Jeonghan quickly wiped them away.
"Don't cry! This isn't goodbye forever!"
"..." The little girl clung onto him with rapid tears falling down her cheeks, soaking his cape wet.
"Hey, you know what? I'll just leave this to you as my gift. This will be a gift, and that the same time, a sign of my promise."
"..." The little girl looked up as Jeonghan placed a necklace on the palm of her hand.
"This is very important to me. I will leave this to you as a token of our friendship and so that when I come back, I will know it is you. But you must not tell anyone about this, or about me."
"..." Miya nodded with pleading eyes, the whole world stopped around them.
"When you wear this, you will have a voice. It won't work on anyone else, so keep it dear to you."
"..." Jeonghan moved closer to her, putting the necklace on her. The little girl blushed profusely, but so did the angel.
"This will be my promise. I will come back to get it and while I'm gone, I'll leave you with a voice. I know you will keep it dear to your heart. My memories with you are what I will take with me."
"I...I will miss you." The little girl embraced him tightly with no intention of letting go.
"Me too." It lasted for a few minutes with just serene silence, before he pulled away.
"..." Miya's tears didn't stop flowing, but this time with a smile on her face.
"Please wait for me. I will come back, I promise." He shed just a tear, only a drop of his feelings, before he left and flew away.
