Siwon:

"We have to stop meeting like this" she sheepishly smiled widely with a tint of rose running down her cheeks. I couldn't take my eyes off her, she's looking extra lovely tonight. 

"I know" I replied as our hands parted and Leeteuk hyung approached her as well for a hand shake

"Well, it seems like you have met my daughter?" Ms. Amanda asked 

"We did" I smiled "somehow" I added as she laughed knowing that I meant so much more to my remark

"Well then, why don't you join us for dinner?" the older Garcia initiated as she locked gazes with me as if she's studying my every thought

"Dinner sounds so good right now" Shindong joked around as we all ended up laughing at both his funny accent and gesture

"Is this why you asked me out tonight, mom?" Anna smiled and hugged her mother

"Hmm, a bit" the mom answered "I figured you guys will all be at the same age so it would be nice if someone younger would take them around" she added

"What do you mean take them around?" Anna protested "You're not coming with us?" she added with a pout

The mom smiled and hald her daughter's hand dearly "I am, of course. For dinner" she concluded "But you should take them out after. Bring them to your hangouts" she added

Anna just smiled and shrugged her shoulders as she followed her mom walking out of the lobby

"We'll meet you at the restaurant. I already advised the chauffer to take you there" she smiled and lead us to the limo service waiting outside

Dinner was quite awkward, maybe because all the guys are strongly intimidated by Ms. Amanda's eloquent demeanor 

"Siwon" Ms. Amanda smiled

"Yes, Ma'am?" I smiled back and wiped my mouth with a napkin

"You look like a supermodel" she praised leaving me flushed "I heard you've been working with Karl?" she added

"Lagerfield?" I asked as she smiled and nodded "Yes, yes I did" I conclued

"Won't it be an issue if I take you in then?" she added

"I don't think so" I assured 

"Very well then" she smiled and went back to her steak

Anna was so focused on her steak when a guy knocked in our suite with a smile

"I heard I had a visitor" the blonde suave guy came in and smiled as he walked towards Ms. Amanda

"Would you look at that" Ms. Amanda smiled with open arms as she stood up to hug the young man "It's been a long time, Nathan" she added

"I know, I've missed you" he said and turned his gaze to Anna who was acting all awkward now "Hey beautiful" he walked beside her as she looked up at him

"When did you get back?" she asked awkwardly and smiled

"Two nights ago" he said leaning down to kiss her forehead "You were around the place, I couldn't find you" he pouted

"I wasn't looking forward to be found" she smiled sarcastically "We have guests now" she pointed at us as if making him leave the room

"Right" he smiled and fixed chef suit "I guess I'll call you later?" he asked Anna with a hopeful smile

Anna stared at him blankly and didn't give an answer

"It's really nice seeing you again, Amanda" the guy hugged her and smiled at all of us "Please enjoy the food, let me know if you have any preferences" he said and whispered to the wait staff instructions

"Is he the owner of this restaurant?" our manager asked Ms. Amanda

"Yes, isn't he handsome?" she praised

"Too handsome to hide in the kitchen, actually" Donghae joked as everyone in the table laughed except for Anna who was still acting cold as if she's being agitated with the topic

"I know" Ms. Amanda smiled as she sat down and smiled at her daughter "Too bad someone let him go just like that" she added

The last sentence made Anna let go of her utensils and look at her mom in shock

"I'll be at the roof deck. Call me when you're done eating" she said weakly but still put in a forced smile and stood up from her seat

I took another look at Anna and saw how hard she's trying to act out strong. Am I even in the position to run after her and ask what is going on? At the back of my head, I just wanted to stand up and follow her.

"Is she okay, Ms. Amanda?" our manager asked curiously

Ms. Amanda smiled weakly "I don't think so" she looked at all of us "I'm sorry you guys had to see that" she apologized 

"It's okay, Madam" Donghae smiled "We'll try to cheer her up later" he added

Anna:

Of all the days, it had to be today. It's so funny how people suddenly re-appear in your life and act like nothing happened. Nate and I go way back, we grew up together, went to the same schools and practically shared everything about our lives. Our parents had it good by actually thinking that we were someday gonna get married. I thought I was gonna marry him as well, or at least that's what I hoped.

But all that hope washed out the moment he decided to walk away from everything we had to start the life he always wanted. He wanted to get out of his parent's wings, he wanted to travel the world, he wanted to cook, he wanted to meet other girls other than me. He thought I was too settled and predictable. He risked our forever for his so called new life. At a time where I discovered how my mom had cancer and didn't want to tell me, at a time when I was torn between looking for my father and actually experiencing to have one, at a time when I thought everything was okay because I had him, he left.

He left me with nothing but a note that said "Let's be happy. I'm sorry. Take care."

Three years after, he comes back smiling and acting like he never left me like some trash. I thought I was over with this, I really did. But everything came back..all the pain came back the moment I saw his smiling face, the moment his lips touched my forehead, the moment he looked into my eyes.

"Heart burn?" a gently voice trailed off from the dark

I turned my head to look for the voice and then came Siwon with a bottle of water approaching me. I couldn't say anything but smile at his attempt of a small talk

"You know, I'm a good listener" he bragged as he sat beside me and smiled

"I don't have anything to tell you, Mr. Choi" I said weakly "At least nothing that should interest you" I added as I sighed and stared at the night sky

"Why don't you try me" he smiled "Maybe it'll help ease your pain right there" he points at my heart

I rolled my eyes and laughed "What do you know about my pain right here?" I touched my heart and smiled

"Enough to follow you up here and make sure you won't be jumping out" he joked

"You got me there" I joked back weakly as he shrugged his shoulders with a smirk

Silence enveloped us for a while. It's nice how Siwon respected my privacy and yet stayed with me this whole time. I don't know what got into me but tears just suddenly fell from my eyes and no matter how much I wipe it and stop myself, I just can't seem to stop tearing up.
