Dara:

"Hey, good morning sweetie" I smiled at the fragile looking being in her bed "I made breakfast, you wanna eat here or you'll get up?" I asked

"Morning, what time is it?" she asked still with a sleepy tone

"A little after nine" I sat beside her and brushed the hair off her face "How are you?" I asked

"I still feel like " she weakly laughed and sat up to lean in her headboard "But a lot better than the few weeks I've been suppressing all these" she confessed with a smile "Thank you, unnie. For being here" she held my hands with a thankful pat

"You know I'm here for you always" I smiled and comforted her "Hmm, are we visiting your mom today in Jeju?" I asked

"You're going with me?" she asked "Aren't you busy today? I'm taking too much of your time from the wedding preps, unnie" she sadly pouted

"Ani" I shook my head immediately "everything is set anyway" I comforted her and assured her that my presence beside her is not a nuisance to any of my plans

"I'll wash up and go to the kitchen, it's been a while since I ate here at home" she smiled "Thank you for ordering food" she teased

"YA, I said I made it" I pouted 

"Unnie, who are you fooling? We both know you can't even keep the garlic from burning in the pan" she laughed and ran to her closet

"YA GIZIBE!!" I ran after her and tickled her

"Arasso arasso unnie, mian" she surrendered with a weak laugh

"Fix up, we eat and go to Jeju together" I smiled as she gave me an 'ok' hand gesture

Flashback:

"Wonah, you okay?" I asked as I sat beside Hae in the dining table facing the hungover friend of ours

He gave me a smiled and nodded "You made this noona?" he asked

"Yup, heard you two have been drinking so this is just perfect for you" I smiled

"Noona, you're not buying the fact that I'll believe this right?" he teased

"YA" I mouthed "Just eat!" I added

"Arasso, arasso, thank you noona" he smiled weakly and began scooping from his bowl

"You know what is good with this?" Hae smiled 

"What?" I asked

"Orange juice" he added

"There's no orange juice in the fridge though" I pouted

"Really?" Hae pouted "I can buy downstairs" he added signalling me

"Wonah you like orange juice with that?" I smiled

"Neh, that sounds great" he smiled back

"I'll be back" Hae smiled and kissed me by the forehead

The first few minutes remained awkward between me and Siwon

"Noona" he finally looked up to me 

"Neh?" I smiled and pretended not to know where this is heading

"How is she?" he asked

"Nugu?" I nonchalantly asked

"Noona" he sighed and gave me a painful weak stare

"You want the truth or the one that will make you feel at ease?" I frankly declared

"The truth" he sat straight

"She cried the night away, as always" I started "I left her sleeping in her appartment now to head to you and see if you and Hae were okay" I added

"Thank you for being there for her, noona." he simply smiled and pursed his lips

"Wonah, you need to know something" I sighed and began to have courage to speak out

"Noona, I'm not ready" he bluntly replied

"You think she is?" I said quite disappointed with his selfishness "You think all these things are easy for her?" I said shaking

"Noona, please" he pleaded

"ANIYO, this is enough" I declared with a superior tone "You will listen to what I have to say and act on it after I finish. You are not a teenager anymore Siwon, you are the man in the relationship. Do you expect her to appear right in front of you and apologize to you after what you did and accused her of?" I said "So weather you like it or not, I will speak up on what I know" I added

Siwon looked at me in shock. This is the first time he has ever heard me in a very harsh and authoritative tone. I have to do this because this is indeed the right thing to do. This whole misunderstanding has to end.

"Anna has been suffering for the last 3 months. She only had you as her refuge and source of joy" I began as I saw him smirk and shook his head

"Madam Garcia has been diagnosed with lupus" I weakly said "She has been hiding this from Anna for 2 years now and have been receiving treatments in France. But it's getting worse and her immune system is getting weaker by the day, this is the main reason why Anna had to step up in behalf of her mom and handle the line herself" I added

Siwon stared at me in shock

"Before you go and pity yourself for not knowing, she tried to tell you. But time and chance just won't allow it, your schedules were on conflict and I was the one who told her to wait it out until your activities end. This is my fault and I'm really sorry for this." I confessed "She thought of you the whole time" I added

I pursed my lips and took another deep breath before continuing "When she was in New York 2 months ago to speak with her mom's doctor, she also found out that Nate is numbered to 6 months and that he wouldn't receive treatment anymore" 

Siwon started crying again

"Wonah, Anna has been in so much pain. Do you understand that? She tried to keep it to herself until I forced her to tell me. She never wanted to be a burden to anybody around her, you and I both know that it's just her stubborn and strong personality dictating her to act all mighty and brave" I said "She never cheated on you my dear" I cried "She always worried and cried in pain about how scared she was that what if one day, she'll loose you as well, just like her mom and Nate" I confessed in her behalf

"Noona, this is too much" he said and held his chest in pain "I feel like a bastard" he added

"Ani, you're not Wonah" I stood up and hugged him

"Where is Mom now?" he asked while sobbing

"In Jeju, receiving treatment from a local doctor. She is also advised to rest and not travel as well. That's why Anna's been too busy with work that she doesn't even have time to think about her own pain" 

"Noona, I feel really bad" he said shaking his head "I don't know how to face Anna again" he added
