Foreword
I like people watching. It all started as a game back in gradeschool and turned out to become a habit. People watching makes me realize that I'm not the only one struggling to live a life - and to actually have a meaning to it.
I have lived my life as New York's famous Fashion Designer Amanda Garcia's daughter. You know, the daughter she didnt expect of having in the middle of her internship in Korea. That daughter who never met the father that gave her the surname she's carrying. I don't even know how I managed to have this surname.. i just never had the courage to talk about it with my mom, I guess. Plus, she's too busy to even bother. I cant remember the last time she even sat down with me and shared a decent meal together.
So here I am, another day in Brooklyn, another batch of people to observe. Another day to live under my pseudo name "Jenny".
"Hello" I smiled and approached the tall asian man who just walked in
"Hi. What's good in here?" he politely asked as he took off his jacket which somehow distracted me for a while since his wonderful abercrombie body marveled me
"Jenny? You okay?" the man snapped his fingers to get my attention as he wore an adorable smirk on his face
"Oh sorry. Uhm." I shook my head and let out a gentle laugh "Well, you seem like you dont eat waffles so..I think the salad would be great" I said still mind slapping myself
"I dont look like a waffle guy to you?" he laughed gently
