CHAPTER 4

Morning came with the sound of winter rain pouring from outside. Two figures wrapped in thick blanket squirmed under the coldness of the morning. There was a faint sound coming from Luhan’s phone. The said girl reached her hand to take it and her eyes snapped open when she sees the name flashed on the screen. There was a mail from her boss a.k.a troll of a friend named Chen.

I’m sorry my dear Lulu, I’m on my vacation now, and my studio is in renovation so we won’t  have any photoshoot until next week. I hope you can find another job while waiting for my info about new photoshoot (^_^)

Luhan sighed before replying the message. She remembered sending him a message the night before, asking about a new photoshoot.

“Did Chen give you any information about your job?” Baekhyun yawned from the other side.

Luhan shook her head. “No....”

Baekhyun sighed.  “Okay, so  you and I are jobless now”.

“Yeah”.

“So—should we go out and try to find a job, now?” Luhan hissed while trying to sit up.

“Wait—are you alright? You look so pale” Baekhyun sat up,  trying to check her friend’s temperature by placing the back of her hand on her foreheard.

“It—it’s okay.. I’m okay”.

“YOU’RE BURNING!” Baekhyun winced when all she could feel was the heat radiating from her friend’s forehead. She got out from her bed and ran out from their shared bedroom.”Wait here—I’ll get you a pill”

“No Baek, it’s okay, I’m okay—I just need some minute to—“.

“No! You listen to me now. You’re not going anywhere and I’ll go, I’ll go find a job” Baekhyun shouted from outside. She came back to their bedroom bringing a glass of water and a pack of pill. Luhan assumed it was a painkiller.

“But—Baek...”

“No butts—okay? Now take this pill and I’ll cook a soup for you”.

“W—wait—Baekhyun—“ . Luhan tried to call for her friend but she was already disappear from her sight. “I know you can’t cook”, she whispered.
