“HOW was it?” Sungmin sat in front of Donghae. He had called all of Sungmin's numbers just to get a hold of him. He had a bad feeling about the first call that he made. He needed to confirm something.

“Did you lend Jans your phone?” he asked.

“Nah. She has her own. Ninz has one of my phones though.” Donghae paled. “What's wrong?”

“I called her...” he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him whole.

“What's wrong?” Sungmin was concerned. He hasn't seen his friend like this in years. He wasn't himself for a few months after they went back from the Philippines. The three of them spent a lot of time with Teuk-hyung talking about going back to the Philippines for a vacation. But after a while Donghae didn't join in the conversation. And he seemed allergic to going to the Philippines. He had to go there once but changed places with him. It was a good thing for him so he didn't refuse. But except for the official concerts, Donghae didn't like going back. And whenever Jans and Ninz were in the concerts that he invited them to, Donghae almost always ends up taking Ninz around. But he looked upset for weeks after she leaves.

“Is there something that you aren't telling me?” he's an extremely private guy and Donghae has been with several women in the past few years. But he was never upset for long after he breaks up with them. “Donghae, I smell something fishy.” he tried to tease his friend. But when he looked up teary-eyed, Sungmin was really worried.

“I told her that...well I thought she was you and she heard me tell you that I can't be with her because...she's too darn beautiful to resist.” Donghae didn't bother to dry his tears, more would come. It was like a damn was opened and he could feel all the negative feelings flow out.
