I've been working for a month here in my parents company.  I rarely see Jonghyun. He's busy too. His parents were in the states for business trips.  I'm planning a dinner with my family at Jonghyun's family.  I need to formally introduce my family to them, and I know his parents will be delighted.

 

 

 

So maybe, many of you thinking how I treat my parents. Now we're good. They keep they promise. They won't treat me as their daughter her in the company.  But of course, the board of directors and employee's of their company knows that I'm their daughter.  I do lunch with them even though I don't like it.  I visit Minho in our house once a week. But Minho insist I visit him twice a week and I must sleep their. So now I visit him twice a week.  We usually  go out. Hang out in the mall.

 

 

 

I'm reading some of the reports of the deparment heads when someone knock the door.

 

 

 

"Noona!"

 

I look up. It's my baby brother Minho.

 

"What do you want?" I ask him as I continue

 

 

 

"Busy?" He ask then sit in front my of my office table.

 

"What do you think?" I said and roll my eyes at him.

 

"I don't have any classes now, let's go eat." He said.

 

 

 

Well, I'm kind of hungry and they report is not to good to read.

 

 

 

"Okay. Let's go." I said and grab my phone and bag.

 

 

 

 

 

We head out of my office, Clara looks surprise.

 

 

 

 

 

"Clara, I'm going out. Get the reports of the department heads. Give it back to them. They need to revise it. Thanks."

 

 

 

"Sure, ma'am. But .."

 

"What?"

 

 

 

"Sir Minwoo wants you to come at his office."

 

She said.

 

 

 

"Okay."

Once I get in my brothers office. He looks at me.

 

"What's with the face bro?" I ask him.

 

 

 

"Have you see the news?" He ask.

 

"No." 

 

"Don't be shocked." He said and motion me to come.

 

 

 

My body moves and when I reached at him.

 

I look at his laptop.

 

 

 

Disappointment, Sadness, Anger fills my face.

 

 

 

"Lee Jonghyun of Lee & Seo Co. Inc. and Im Yoona of DaeIm Corporations engagement party date announce."

 

 

 

I don't know what to react. But anger fill me.

 

 

 

"I saw this yesterday. You didn't see it?" Minwoo oppa ask me.

 

 

 

I read the entire article. I already got the the details of the venue.

 

 

 

I look at my two brothers.

 

"Let's go then. We need to congratulate him."

 

 

 

Suddenly, mom and dad comes in.

 

"Going out?" Dad ask.

 

"Yes." I said.

 

 

 

Mom notice my cold answer to dad.

 

"Everything's alright?" She ask.

 

 

 

"Yes."

 

 

 

"Are you free tonight?" Mom ask.

 

"Why?" Minwoo oppa ask her.

 

"We're invited." She said.

 

 

 

"To what?" I ask.

 

"Lee Jonghyun's engagement." She said.

 

 

 

"Mom, I thought you're not in good terms with the Lee." Minwoo oppa.

 

What the?

 

 

 

"They apologize Minwoo and it's a business invitation." Mom said.

 

"So, the 3 of you should go with us." Dad said.

 

 

 

Minwoo oppa and Minho look at me.

 

I smirked.

 

"Sure."

"Anna, you don't have to come." Minwoo said to me.

 

He's with me in my car.  I insist to use mine since it's new.

 

 

 

"Why not? We're invited." I said.

 

"I don't want to see you crying again." He said.

 

 

 

I look at him and smile.

 

"Don't worry. I won't cry. He's not worth of my tears." I said.

 

 

 

We arrive at the venue.

 

I see many photographers in the front of the entrance.

 

Mom, Dad and Minho's car in the front.They go out of their car and it's our turn.

 

 

 

"Ready?"

 

Minwoo oppa ask me.

 

 

 

I smile at him and nod.

 

He go out and make his way to my door to open it for me.

 

When I go out, everyone focus on me.

 

Yes, this is the first time the media saw me.

 

 

 

I smile and linked arms with Minwoo oppa.

 

"Just smile." I told him.

 

 

 

I looked at Mom, Dad and Minho, they're all smiling at me. After that, we walk towards the hotel. We ride the elevator and I tense. Minwoo oppa hold my hand. I glance at him.

 

"You okay?" He ask

I nod.

 

The elevator stops at the 10th floor. We head out. We enter the auditorium, the room is already filled of people. Mom and Dad is talking to some of their business partners. Mom introduce me to them.

 

"I haven't see you with them." One of them told me.

 

"I was studying in US sir. I was busy that I don't have time to visit here." I said.

 

He smile at me.

 

I look around, Minwoo oppa motion me to come.

 

"Excuse me."

I walk towards him.

 

"Where's Minho?" I ask.

"His with his friends." He said and point Minho.

 

Seriously, all girls?

 

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm here to introduce you Mr. Lee Jonghyun and Ms. Im Yoona." The guy on the stage said.

 

I look at the aisle, and see him walking with her. He smiles sweetly at her and the girl lean on him.

 

I have this feeling that I will cry anytime. But I need to fight it. I'm not crying over him.

 

"Anna!" Someone called me.

I look back to see. It's Ryan Banks.

 

"Hey, I didn't know you'll be here. Are you okay?" He ask.

 

"My family is invited. I need to come with them." I said.

 

A tear fell from eyes.

He suddenly hug me. Yes, that's all I need. A hug from my dearest best buddy. 

 

"Hush now." He said. comforting me.

I wipe my tears with the tissue he gave me.

 

I breath in then breath out. I can do this. He's not worth of my tears. I need to be strong.

 

"Anna." 

I look back, it's Minwoo oppa. I forgot that he's with me.

 

"Oh sorry. Ryan, this my older brother Minwoo, oppa this is Ryan Banks." I said.

 

"Glad to meet you Mr. Lee" Ryan said as he shakes hand with Minwoo oppa.

 

"Me too." Oppa said to him.

 

"Are you okay? If you can't take this anymore. I'll take you home." Minwoo oppa said to me.

 

"Yes, your brother is right. You should go now Anna." Ryan said.

 

"No. I want to congratulate them." I said.

 

"Minwoo, Mika." Mom called us.

I look back, he's with Dad, Minho, Jonghyun and his parents and Yoona his fiance.

 

"Oh great. They here." I said.

 

"Were looking for you. Ohhhh." Mom said. She's shock. Why?

 

"Mr. Banks." Dad said.

 

"Mr. Lee." Ryan said and shakes hand with Dad. He then looks at Mom. "Mrs. Lee"

 

I look at Jonghyun, his face falls when I gaze at him. Then I look at his parents. Shocked to see me. I didn't smile at them.

 

"Oh, Mika darling, I would like to introduce you our business partner, Mr. Lee and Mrs. Seo with their son Jonghyun and his fiance Yoona." She said.

 

"This is my daughter. Mika Lee." Mom added.

 

"Anna..." Jonghyun's mom called me.

 

"Nice meeting you again Ma'am." I said.

 

"You know them Mika?" Dad ask me.

 

I'm still looking at Jonghyun, he eyes still lock on me.

 

"Yes. I met them many times in America." I said to Dad.

 

"Really?" Mom said.

I nod.

 

"We didn't know she's your daughter." Jonghyun's dad said.

 

"So you met Jonghyun?" Mom ask.

 

"Of course mom. He's the guy I was telling you." I said.

 

"What do you mean?" Mom ask me.

 

"He's my boyfriend mom. The guy who's with me in Bali last month." I said.

 

I glance at my parents. Their shock.

 

"He's your boyfriend?" Mom ask.

 

"Not anymore." I said.

I walk towards Jonghyun and his fiance.

 

I look at Yoona and smile at her. Now, I remember her. Jonghyun's stalker.

 

"Congratulations Yoona. He's all yours. Take a good care of him." I said sarcastically.

 

Then I look at Jonghyun.

"Congratulations." I said.

 

"I'm so.."

Before he finish, I slap him hard.

 

"Jerk!" I said.

I fight back my tears.

When I look back. All of them staring at us.

Even the people in the room. They staring at us.

 

"Can I go home now? I'm tired." I ask my parents.

 

They didn't answer so I start to walk. I'm outside the room, I stop for a while. A tear, again fall from my eyes. . Then I start walking again towards the elevator when someone grab my hand. I look back, it's Jonghyun.

 

"Anna, baby let's talk." He said.

 

What? Baby?

 

I smirk.

 

"What? Baby? I'm not yours to call me baby!" I start to walk again when he stops me.

 

"Please, Anna." He said.

 

"I don't wanna talk to you, I don't wanna see you." I said and walk.

 

He grabs my arm.

"I'm sorry Anna. I'm sorry!" He said.

 

 

"Mika!" Minwoo oppa called me. He's with Ryan, Minho, Mom and dad. Then the door opens and Jonghyun's parents walk out with Yoona.

 

 

I was about to walk again and when Jonghyun hugged me.

 

 

I push him hard when I'm out from his hug. I slap him again.

 

"Let go of me. I don't want to see you.Go back to your fiance!"

 

I said. I look back and walks towards them.

 

"Oppa. Car key please." I said.

 

"Darling, are you okay?" Mom ask, I nod.

 

"I'll take you home." Minwoo oppa told me.

I nod.

 

I look at Ryan.

 

"Ryan, I'll see you tomorrow." I said and hug him.

 

"Yes, sure. Please call me when you got home. Be careful. Rest okay?" He said.

 

I nod.

 

I look at my parents and Minho.

"Mom, Dad. I'll go home." I said.

 

"Darling, you haven't eat yet. Aren't you hungry? You should eat first." Mom ask.

 

I shake my head. "I'm not hungry Mom. I need rest. I'm hell tired from work." I said.

 

"Are you okay Mika?" Dad ask me.

"I'm okay dad." I said. I hug him and kiss him on his cheeks. And I do the same to mom.

 

"Noona..." Minho said.

 

"I'm good. See you tomorrow." I said.

 

After saying goodbye to my family. I walk towards Jonghyun parents.

 

"I'm sorry, I slap your son. But he deserves to be slap." I said and leave them.

 

I start to walk and follow Minwoo oppa.

I stop and look back.

 

"Yoona." I called her.

She looks at me.

 

"Your hard works from stalking him for years is paid. He's all yours." I said and smile at her. But I know my smile is fake. When I said the last 3 words to her, it tears my heart into pieces.

 

Minwoo oppa takes my hand and we start walking again. We passed Jonghyun when he said something that stops me from walking. 

 

"I'm really sorry Anna. I don't want to hurt you. Please, forgive me." 

 

 

 

"I love you. I will always love you." He said.

 

I step into the elevator.

I start crying again.

 

"And I too, I will always love you too. But it's over now." I said
